    • PURPOSE: To facilitate phase adjustment of a gear tooth by constituting a gear train in the first/third stages of a paired helical gears and that in the second stage of a paired bevel gears, also providing a gear coupling of adjusting a phase of a tooth in an intermediate shaft. CONSTITUTION: When a slide gear 15 is moved in an axial direction of the first intermediate shaft 4, an internal gear 23 is rotated by action of a helical gear 18 provided in the gear 15 and a helical tooth 24 formed in the internal gear 23. Through a flange 6b integrally connected to this gear 23, turning force is transmitted to a gear 6, to give a preload to a gear train in the first stage constituted of a helical pinion provided in an input shaft and of the helical gear 6 provided in a plurality of the first two intermediate shafts 4. As a result, a phase is adjusted such that a tooth of a gear train in the first stage is completely meshed into contact. Since a gear train in the second stage, transmitting an output of the first intermediate shaft 4 to the second intermediate shaft 8, is constituted of a bevel pinion 7 provided in the shaft 4 and of a bevel gear 9 provided in the shaft 8, the preload given to the gear train in the first stage is accurately transmitted to the gear train in the second stage.

    • PURPOSE:To easily and surely achieve a desired engagement in a synchronous spline coupling in which a claw for detacting the synchronization of plural coupling members is provided in the recess of a synchronizing member, by providing a magnetic member in the recess away from the fulcrum of the claw. CONSTITUTION:A first coupling member 2, which is driven by a driving shaft 1, is always engaged with an intermediate member 4 by helical splines 3. A synchronizing member 5 having a recess 7, in which a claw 8 is housed, is always engaged with the intermediate member 4 by auxiliary splines 6. When the synchronizing member 5 is rotated, the claw 8 is engaged with the engaging surface 11 of a ratchet 10 directly connected to a second coupling member 9. A magnetic member 17 is provided in the recess 7 of the synchronizing member 5 slightly away from the fulcrum 13 of the claw to attract the center of gravity of the claw by the magnetic force of the magnetic member to push up the tip of the claw 8 to easily and surely engage it with the engaging surface 11 of the ratchet 10.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To aim at size-reduction and capacity increase in such device as driving a pump by means of power of a prime mover via a transmission so as to exhaust underground water by achieving speed reduction of a transmission by means of the first step bevel gear train and also changing its direction from its horizontal line to vertical line so as to make speed reduction by means of the second step planetary gear train. SOLUTION: When the rotation of a prime mover is transmitted to an input shaft 1 via a coupling 5, this power is reduced in its rotational speed by means of the first step bevel gear train composed of a bevel pinion 3 and a bevel gear 6 and the direction of its shaft is changed to vertical line from its horizontal line so as to be transmitted to an intermediate shaft 4. The rotation of the intermediate shaft 4 is transmitted to a sun gear 7 making the second step of a planetary gear train and the rotation of the sun gear 7 is transmitted to an output shaft 2 via a planetary gear 9. The rotation of this output shaft 2 drives a pump shaft so as to suck up the underground water by means of a pump. Since this transmission is formed in a two steps speed reduction structure of such relationship as bevel gear-planetary gear, a distance from the shaft end of the input shaft to the center of the output shaft can be made small so as to provide compactness of a pump machine site.
