    • PURPOSE:To air-condition a room so that the temperature distribution inside the room becomes uniform, by installing an air agitating device at a position in an air passage way after air passes through a heat exchanger and before air is distributed. CONSTITUTION:Air sent by a fan 2 passes through a heat exchanger 3, is agitated by a rotary disc 5a rotating on a rotary axle 5b, distributed by a distributor 6 and blown out from air outlets 7a and 7b. Although air turns to high- temperature air and low temperature air after passing through the heat exchanger 3 as the upper part of the heat exchanger 3 is higher in temperature than the lower part, the air is agitated by the rotary disc 5a and its temperature becomes uniform. The rotary disc 5a is turned on the rotary axle 5b by air flow. As air streams 4a having uniform temperatures are blown out from the air outlets 7a and 7b, air having the same temperature is blown out from the air outlets 7a and 7b. Therefore, the temperature distribution in a room becomes uniform and no uncomfortable place appears in the room, resulting in an economical air-conditioning without requiring capacities more than necessary for an air conditioner.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance reliability and safety of an air conditioner by preventing the temperature of a rotational speed controller from rising even if an enormous current happens to flow simultaneously with high outdoor temperature. SOLUTION: The air conditioner comprises a refrigeration cycle constituted by connecting by piping an outdoor unit having a compressor, a four-way valve, an outdoor heat exchanger and an outdoor expansion valve, and an indoor unit having an indoor expansion valve and an indoor heat exchanger with each other. The air conditioner further comprises a blower 2 connected to a power source 9 through the rotational speed controller 1 so as to variably control the rotational speed thereof, a temperature detector 6 for detecting outdoor temperature and a bypass circuit 10 connecting the power source 9 to the blower 2 with bypassing the controller 1. When the outdoor temperature detected by the detector 6 is a first limiting temperature or higher, the connection of the blower 2 is switched from the controller 1 to the bypass circuit 10.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an air conditioner which will not be short in the cooling capacity of an indoor machine due to the working condition of pipeline connection or the like, and which is high in stability while the degree of freedom in designing the same is increased to contrive the improvement of amenity. SOLUTION: The air conditioner is provided with a plurality of indoor machines 191, 19N having indoor heat exchangers 201, 20N and indoor expansion valves 221, 22N, and an outdoor machine 8. A first outdoor heat exchanger 101 and a first outdoor expansion valve 151 are connected to one pipe branched at one of the discharging side of compressors 91, 92, and a second outdoor heat exchanger 102 as well as a second outdoor expansion valve 12 are connected to the other pipe while an outdoor fan 11 for sending air to the first outdoor heat exchanger 101 and the second outdoor heat exchanger 102 while whose number of rotation is variable. In such an air conditioner, a discharging pressure detector 33 for detecting the discharging pressures of the compressors 91, 92 is provided, and, when a discharging pressure is lowered than a predetermined pressure value upon cooling operation and mainly cooling operation, the number of rotation of the outdoor fan 11 is reduced.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the rapid fluctuation of the room temperature by periodically controlling the opening/closing of a damper provided in an air flow passage of an indoor fan provided so as to introduce the indoor circulated air and the outside air, and mixing a part of the indoor circulated air with the outside air and feeding the mixed air indoors. SOLUTION: In the timing chart when an outside air introduction switch is set from a remotely operating device when the cooling thermostat is turned off, the point (a) indicates the thermostat in the off condition, and a compressor is stopped. Then, the temperature of the supplied air gradually rises. When an outside air introduction switch is set (at the point (b)) from a remotely operating device, a damper is driven forward to set the outside air introduction to be 100%. Then, the temperature of the supplied air rapidly rises, and the indoor temperature also rises thereby. When the temperature of the supplied air is compared with the set value for the indoor temperature, and the difference exceeds the set value for the differential indoor temperature (at the point (c)), the opening/closing of the damper is periodically controlled so that the temperature of the supplied air is brought close to a renewed set value.
