    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent electrolytic corrosion between a wedge and an end damper ring or between a wedge and a tooth by causing wedges, a creepage block, each damper to have tapered parts, causing them to have some degree of freedom in the radial direction against a centrifugal force generated by rotation, and making the contact between substances close. SOLUTION: In the rotor of a rotating electric machine where the field winding of the rotor is pressed down by wedges against centrifugal forces, wedges 3 having tapered parts 9 at the end parts of their bodies are used. Since a wedge 3 and the touching part of an end damper ring with it meet at an angle, a relative slip occurs and the wedge 3 becomes movable in the radial direction, when a centrifugal force in the radial direction by rotation is acting. However, there is a fear of producing a slight space between each wedge 3 and the end damper ring 4, since a sufficient centrifugal force is not generated at the time of low-speed rotation on the occasion of a thyristor start. But, the wedge 3 having a tapered part enables its close adhesion, even if the member of rotation is small, and electrolytic corrosion by an overcurrent can be prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate the confirmation of action of a level switch by providing a measuring tank connected to a water reservoir tank via upper/lower pipes and a sluice valve, a level switch and a testing valve for confirming the action of the switching in the measuring tank. CONSTITUTION:A second tank 7 is connected to the water reservoir tank 5 via sluice valves 9a, 9b. The sluice valves 9a, 9b are opened and testing valves 10a, 10b are closed usually so that the water level 6a of the water reservoir 5 and the water level 7a of the tank 7 are equalized to measure the water level of the water reservoir tank 5 by means of level switch 8. When confirming the action of the level switch 8, the valve 9a, 9b are closed. The valve 10a is closed and the valve 10b is opened so that the water in the tank 7 is discharged to a drain collector 11 to confirm the action at a low level. The valve 10a is opened and the valve 10b is closed so that the water in the tank 7 is increased to confirm the action at a high level. In this confirmation of the action, the influence from the variation of the amount of the water in the tank 7 to the whole system is so small that the confirmation of the action of the level switch 8 can be carried out even when a dynamo 1 is running.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cooling efficiency and reduce a machine size, by arranging a spacer and a spacer piece between field winding end parts, and exhausting cold air from an intake port to the outside from a ventilating outlet through a ventilating path. SOLUTION: In a circulating groove 3C of a spacer 3A set up between field windings 1, cooling air adjusted in a spacer piece 3B flows. Relating to a rotor direction, cold air taken in from an end part passes through between the spacer 3A and the field winding 1 to flow into a vent hole 6 provided in a rotor barrel part 11. Relating to a rotor peripheral direction, similarly to an axial direction, the air passes through between the spacer 3A and the field winding 1, from an axial direction passage 10 set up in an internal diametric side of the field winding 1 in a central part, to be guided to a ventilating outlet 5 of the rotor barrel part 11. Since a ventilating path of strut insulator can be lessened, the insulator with a thickness about in the past worked can be used. In this way, cooling efficiency is improved, also a machine size can be contracted.
