    • PURPOSE:To simplify maintenance by using a self-actuated pressure regulating valve, and setting the secondary side pressure of the self-actuated pressure regulating valve automatically by a remote operation. CONSTITUTION:The pressure control method of the self-actuated pressure regulating valve 1 is performed in such a way that fluid from a conduit 11 flows from a conduit 12 to the valve 1, and pressure is reduced to the secondary side pressure, and it is supplied from a conduit 13 to a requesting opponent. And a pressure transmitter 3 which detects the pressure in the inside of a connecting pipe 15 connected to the pressure control part of the regulating valve 1 and transmits a signal to a pressure indication controller 6, automatic regulating valves 4-5 provided at the air releasing side of connecting pipes 14-15 for primary side pres sure, and a controller 6 are provided. The signal corresponding to preset pressure is transmit ted by the controller 6, and the automatic regulating valves 4-5 are operated, then, the auto matic setting of the pressure functioning on the pressure control part of the self-actuated pressure regulating valve 1 is performed. Also, the automatic regulating valves 4-5 performs the opening/closing operation of the signal of the controller 6 in a split range. Therefore, it is possible to set the secondary side pressure of the regulating valve 1 by changing the preset pressure of the controller 6 at a remote operating part.

    • PURPOSE:To purify water by decomposing organic matter adsorbed with an activated charcoal filled between anodes and cathodes with oxygen generated through electrolysis of water using a group of electrodes which are made up of a plurality of the anodes and the cathodes energized alternately arranged. CONSTITUTION:Water fed into a packed tower 1 from an inlet 9 is electrolysed during the passage through a group of electrolytes and oxygen gas thus generated ascends and trapped with a baffle plate 6. The oxygen gas thus trapped runs up to an upper stage through a gas withdrawing port 7 and passes through an activated charcoal layer 5 to decompose organic compounds absorbed from water. The water purified flows to an upper group of electrodes 2 through a passage 8, repeatedly purified as mentioned above and then, withdrawn from an outlet 10. On the other hand, the oxygen gas is taken out from the withdrawing port 7 without passing through the upper group of electrodes 2.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease a biological oxygen demand(BOD) in a waste liquid with a high BOD without using a microorganism treatment, by rectifying the waste liquid by a rectifying column, drawing out organic substances having boiling points lower than water from the column top with water, and discharging a bottom liquid having a low BOD from the column bottom. SOLUTION: A condensate of steam used for heating in a heater 6 is supplied to an intermediate part of a rectifying column 16 by a second condensate pump 15. In the rectifying column 16, alcohols of low boiling points are driven out from a column bottom side to move to a column top side by steam injected into the column bottom, alcohols or the like is discharged from the column top of the rectifying column 16 with moisture as steam to condense in a column top condenser 17, and refluxed to the column top of the rectifying column 16 through a distillate tank 18. As a high alcohol liquid is refluxed, the alcohol content at the top column becomes higher. When the alcohol concentration of the distillate reaches the target one, a part of the distillate is collected to be recovered as a crude alcohol. The bottom liquid discharged from the bottom of the rectifying column 16 contains few organic substances having lower boiling points than water, so that the BOD decreases greatly.

    • PURPOSE:To keep the supply of BOD almost constant by regulating the amount of waste water coming into aeration tank according to the measured value of dissolved oxygen concentration in the aeration tank. CONSTITUTION:Waste water is introduced through the flow meter 2 and the flow regulating valve 3 into the aeration tank 4 from the supply pipe 1, and air is sent into the aeration tank 1 from the blower 5 in order to supply oxygen required by activated sludge. Treated water is introduced through the pipe 6 into the separtion tank 7 and activated sludge separated is discharged from the overflow pipe 8, where the separated activated sludge is drawn out by the sludge pump 9 and its part is sent back in a difinite amount to the tank 4 by operating the flow regulating valve 12 by the flow meter 10 and the flow rate indicating regulator 11. The tank 4 is provided with the dissolved oxygen meter 13 and the flow regulating valve 3 is operated by the dissolved oxygen concentration indicating regulator 14 following the meter 13 so as to keep the dissolved oxygen concentration constant and the amount of incoming waste water is controlled. In this case, excess sludge is drawn out by operating the regulating valve 17 by the sludge interface indicating regulator 16 in such a wat that the sludge interface is kept constant by the sludge interface meter 15 not to change the concentration of returned slduge.
