    • PURPOSE:To smoothly shift the stored paper sheets by installing a spreading mechanism for spreading guide opening wider by a member outside a cassette. CONSTITUTION:When a cassette 3 into which paper sheets are stored is installed into a paper sheet handling device 30, side guides 1 and 2 are shifted in the directions C and D against springs 8 and 9 by the plate cams 31 and 32 installed onto the paper handling device 30. Therefore, when the cassette 3 is installed onto the paper handling device 30, the opening between the side guides 1 and 2 can be set larger than the opening in the case when paper sheets are stored. Therefore, even if the paper sheets 20 are separated one by one from the cassette 3 by the paper sheet handling device 30, the contact resistance between the paper sheets 20 and the side guides 1 and 2 is not generated, and the pressure of a pressing plate 22 due to the spring is smoothly transmitted, and the top edge of the paper sheet can contact a shaft 23 by a prescribed pressure.

    • PURPOSE: To improve the reliability of operation in an automatic paper sheet handler where paper sheets are stacked through stacking means in containing section then taken out sequentially through separation/take-out means, by positioning paper sheet deformation limiting means at the opposite sides of paper sheet in containing section and counter-feeding side.
      CONSTITUTION: The automatic paper sheet handler is provided with stacking means including an impeller 54 for receiving the bill B carried through carrying means. The bills B stacked in containing section are taken out sequentially through separation/take-out means comprised of a pick-up roller 34, a feed roller 20, a gate roller 25, etc. The stacking means and the separation/take-out means are made retractable against the stacking face. Here, first and second deformation limiting means or a roller 72 and a guide roller 39 are fixed to an arm 29 fixed with feed-out means or a pick-up roller 34. The roller 72 is positioned at the opposite sides of bill B while the guide roller 39 is positioned at the opposite side from feeding side against said roller 34.

    • PURPOSE:To automatically detect excess and shortage of the number of leads in a magazine by a method wherein the magazine is divided into many portions by partition plates, many leads are contained therein, a detection plate having excess electrodes in the upper stage and shortage electrodes in the lower stage is put thereon, and then the current flowing between the electrodes is detected by forming those into an integral body and swinging them in inclination. CONSTITUTION:The inside of the magazine 9 placed on a table 26 is divided by the partition plates 10, thus forming each containing hole 11, and many leads 7 desired for counting are contained therein. ON the other hand, a detection device for the quantity of leads 25 is composed of a vibration mechanism 29, an elevator 30 disposed in upright thereon, an elevation arm 31, and a supporting piece 28, and the detection plate 27 having clamping claws 32 which clamp the magazine 9 is installed on the lower end of the supporting piece 28. Thereat, the excess electrodes 34 in the upper stage and the shortage electrodes 35 in the lower stage are provided in the detection plate 27 by corresponding to each of the containing holes 11; the leads 7 are vibrated by vibrating the detection plate 27 in inclination and then made to abut against the electrodes 34 and 35, and accordingly the number of the leads 7 is detected according to the flowing current.

While, in case of paper sheets subjected to forgotten taking, they are received in a collecting case a16.

    • PURPOSE:To improve yield rate and work efficiency in a glass tube supply jig for glass sealed diode assembly by disposing a storing hole group on the main surface of a loader corresponding to a supply portion in such a manner that the countersink of the storing hole is brought into contact with an adjacent counter sink with a small expansion angle. CONSTITUTION:The main surface of a glass loader 9 is provided with the first group A of storing holes 12 arranged in zigzags and the second group B of storing holes 12 arranged in such a manner as to supply a glass tube to a support hole which is not supplied by the first group A. The opening angle theta2 of the countersink 18 of the storing hole 12 is 40 degrees to be in contact with the edge of an adjacent countersink 12. In this arrangement, the diameter of the countersink 18 is larger than conventional one and the grade is severe, so that at the time of supplying a glass tube to a support hole from the group A and the group B, the glass tube is easy to go into the countersink 18. Accordingly, the charge time is shortened, and damages of parts can be reduced so as to improve work efficiency and yield rate.
