    • PURPOSE:To enable a dwelling space within a room to be efficiently heated or cooled by a method wherein a flowing angle of sucked air of an air conditioner is controlled in cooperation with a discharging air. CONSTITUTION:A suction port 4c of a front panel 4 is kept closed and an amount of air required for an air conditioner is assured so as to cause air to be passed through suction ports 4a, 4b and a normal filter part A of a filter 5 as indicated by an arrow C. In the case of performing a heating operation, an air directing plate 6 is directed downwardly. In case a heat exchanger 1 is not sufficiently warmed at the beginning of heating operation, the suction port 4c is kept closed and an axial flow fan 2 is rotated at a low speed so as to cause air of flow temperature not to discharge a low temperature air and further not to feel cold. In turn, in case of performing a cooling operation, a vertical air directing plate 6 is directed downwardly a little from its horizontal orientation and a grilled plate 4d is directed upwardly only at its upper part, whereby warm air at upstream side of the interior space is efficiently cooled and then a dwelling space in a room is cooled.

    • PURPOSE:To enable execution of dehumidifying operation even under low temperature environment and to prevent lowering of an operation rate due to defrosting operation, by a method wherein first, second, and third time limit means and a detecting means are provided, and a defrosting means is actuated only when the time limit of the third time limit means is overlapped with a defrosting signal from the detecting means. CONSTITUTION:During dehumidifying operation, a compressor and a blower are approximately synchronously and intermittently operated with the aid of first and second time limit means 8 and 9, and only during a period in which the first time limit means 8 is worked, air passing a vaporizer is cooled and dehumidified to return it in a room, and dehumidification is practicable in a state of suppressing indoor temperature. When frost is formed on a vaporizer surface under low temperature environment, a detecting means 11 outputs a defrosting signal 12, through an overlap of the time limit of a third time limit means 10, generated during time limit of the second time limit means 9, a defrosting means 18 is driven, and the third time limit means 10 is prevented from driving the defrosting means 18 during time limit of the first time limit means 8. This constitution enables prevention of lowering of the efficiency of dehumidifying operation due to defrosting operation.

CONSTITUTION:A bypass circuit 6 which bypasses a condenser 2 and a pressure reduc ing turn-down mechanism 3 to connect an outer side pipeline 1a of a compressor 1 to an inlet side pipeline 4a of a vaporizer 4 is provided in a coolant circuit. A switching valve 7 keeping its closed state during the space cooling mode operation, is disposed in the bypass circuit 6. Further, the air conditioning control system comprises timing means 18 for setting the period of a dehumidifying mode during the dehumidifying mode operation; timing means 19 for ON/OFF controlling the com pressor 1 in every period of the dehumidifying mode; timing means 20 for starting the operation of a blower 5 with a preset time lag after starting the operation of the compressor; timing means 21 for stopping the operation of the blower before the stoppage of the operation of the compressor; and timing means 22 for controlling to open the switching valve 7 of the circuit 6 in a period from the time of stopping the operation of the blower to the time of starting the resumptive operation at the time of the dehumidifying mode operation of the compressor.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent always a dew formation by a method wherein a dew point is calculated by a sensor circuit for a room temperature and a room humidity, an air speed of an indoor blower is changed by the sensor circuit for a discharged tempera ture, an electrical heater is electrically energized and then a discharging temperature during a cooling operation is made higher than the dew point. CONSTITUTION:A dew point is detected in reference to signals of indoor temperature and indoor humidity and further compared with a signal of the discharged temperature. In the case that the discharged temperature is lower than the dew point, an air speed of the indoor blower is increased and then the discharged temperature is increased. In the case that the air speed of the indoor air blower is at the maximum value, the electrical heater is electrically energized to increase the discharged temperature and the discharged temperature is set to be higher than the dew point. In this case, after the temperature of the discharged air is made stable by a timer counter of a minutes (a), the discharged temperature and the dew point are compared to each other again and its control is continued. This control is repeated, thereby the dew point is lowered due to a dehumidifying action of an air conditioner and thus the original setting operation of the air conditioner can be carried out without forming any dew at the indoor device.

CONSTITUTION:An operating pattern, in which the rotating number of an indoor fan 4 is set at 'weak' mode, the maximum rotating number of a compressor 11 is set at the half of the normal rotating number thereof and the rotating number of an outdoor fan 10 at 'weak' mode, and other plurality of operating patterns are stored in a microcomputer in a main body control unit 2. When the operating switch 6 of a remote control unit 5 is operated by a customer, the summary of the selected operating pattern is indicated in an indicating unit 7 and a signal to carry out the operating pattern is outputted from a transmitting unit 9. When a receiving unit 3 receives the signal, the main body control unit 2 sets the indoor fan 4 at 'weak' mode, sets the maximum rotating number of the compressor 11 at the half of the rotating number of the same upon normal operation, sets the rotating number of the outdoor fan 10 at 'weak' mode and operates respective machines. When the receiving unit does not receive the signal, the normal operation of the air conditioner may be effected.

    • PURPOSE:To enable reduction of the cost, simplification of wiring work and effective suppression of radiant noise by a method wherein a high-potential-side wiring is made to have a high-frequency impedance and coupling capacitors transferring signals between wirings and a control part are connected in the preceding stage ending with a coil. CONSTITUTION:In an air conditioner, a DC power source for supplying a power to an indoor machine 1 is prepared in an outdoor machine 2 by converting an AC input into a direct current and by dropping it to a DC voltage of 1/n (n>1) by a DC-DC converter 13, and communication signals for control of a compressor 12 and others are transmitted to and received from DC power output wirings connected between the indoor machine 1 and the outdoor machine 2, in high-frequency superposition. The opposite ends of the wiring on the high potential side are connected to the DC power source or a capacitor C1 through a coil L1 so that the wiring be made to have a high-frequency impedance, and coupling capacitors C2 and C3 transferring the signals between the wirings and a control part are connected in the preceding stage ending with the coil L1, thus the high frequency of the signals to be a noise source being suppressed.
