    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal which can process a moving image effectively even if the processing capacity of a CPU in the terminal is not high.
      SOLUTION: The mobile terminal comprises an image forming means for outputting an image signal, a first memorizing means for memorizing the image signal output from the image forming means, a compressing means for compressing the image signal read out from the first memorizing means, a second memorizing means for memorizing the compressed image signal from the compressing means, an expanding means for expanding the compressed image signal read out from the second memorizing means, a displaying means for displaying the image signal output from the expanding means, and a controlling means, which executes a control in such a way that the expanding means automatically starts expanding a compressed image signal read out from the second memorizing means after a subsequent image signal output by the image forming means is over, while the displaying means displays an image signal output from the expanding means. The controlling means controls the expansion process of the compressed image signal by the expanding means, and the compression process of the image signal by the compressing means.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a mobile station (terminal) side to detect an error in an incoming signal with high efficiency only with addition/revision of a function of the mobile station (terminal) side. SOLUTION: A retransmission request detection circuit 107 checks reception data received by a reception circuit 101 and discriminates whether or not a retransmission is requested and gives a signal denoting detection of an error of a transmitter side to a transmission frame buildup circuit 105 and a light emitting circuit 104, when the 107 discriminates the occurrence of the retransmission request. The light emitting circuit 104 lights a yellow light emitting diode for a prescribed period. Furthermore, an error detection circuit 103 checks whether or not an error in the unit of frames is in existence in data received by the reception circuit 101, aborts the received data in the received frame when an error is present, informs the transmission frame buildup circuit 105 of a frame number of a frame that is not received, and gives a signal denoting detection for an error of the receiver side to the light emitting circuit 104. The light emitting circuit 104 causes a red light emitting diode to emit light for a prescribed period of time.

    • PURPOSE:To utilize the reception characteristic of synchronization detection at a low reception level by arranging an adaptive carrier type synchronization detector and a synchronization detector in parallel and selecting either of them depending on the quantity of a phase error between symbols. CONSTITUTION:A synchronization detector 714 employing digital signal processing is arranged in parallel with a delay detection circuit of an adaptive carrier type synchronization detector. Since the synchronization detector 714 has much arithmetic operation quantity and has a high power consumption, when the reception state of a radio wave is excellent, the synchronization detector 714 is not in use but the delay detection circuit is used, and only when the reception state of a radio wave is not excellent, the synchronization detector 714 is used for demodulation. In order to select the delay detector or the synchronization detector, a phase error is detected and its level is measured. That is, when the reception state is excellent, a synchronization detector drive signal 709 is set to 0 to close a switch 707 to apply phase control signals 106,107 to a phase frequency control circuit 113 and to apply a suppression signal to an amplitude quantization circuit 713 and the synchronization detector 714 not to start them.
