If the deflection current toward horizontal or vertical direction should be absent, Tr3 is OFF, and Tr4 is ON, and the reference voltage is decreased to VEE to almost zero IF. Thus, the electron beam of pickup tube is not collected on the target plane.

摘要： PURPOSE:To simplify the handling of the TV camera as well as to increase the life time of the pickup tube by securing an automatic ON/OFF of the lens iris in response to the ON/OFF of the camera power source with addition of a simple circuit. CONSTITUTION:With ON of camera power source P2 at time t1, the gate voltage of FETQ1 lowers down to the voltage determined by constant voltage element CV due to generation of bias voltage V2 and V3. And then Q1 is turned off. Thus, the charging charge of cpacitor C is discharged via low resistor R3 for memory time setting and then lowers down to voltage V3. As a result, the source voltage of FETQ2 becomes almost equal to voltage V3 and then to lens iris switch setting reference voltage Va at t2 after the time according to the time constant which is determined by resistor R2 and C. At this instant, lens iris control circuit IC opens the lens iris to perform the switch control of the lens iris in response to the level of video signal S and in accordance to the drop of voltage VO after t2.

Now, FF 2 is operated as a frequency divider and outputs a pulse train, which has the half period of the chrominance components subcarrier, as a dot signal.

As a result, the insertion of reference pulses to blanking intervals becomes needless, and a good picture can be obtained.

Amplitude-pulse width modulator circuit 8 outputs pulses which change the width according to the level of signals supplied from switch circuit 5. The output of modulator circuit 8 is supplied to differentiating and pulse shaping circuit 10, and obtained pulses are added to video signals, and they are displayed on the receiving tube screen.

The output of modulator circuit 11 is supplied to differentiating and pusle shaping circuit 13, and obtained pulses are added to video signals, and they are displayed on the receiving tube screen.
