摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-proof sheet joining device for tunnel boring machine that can surely weld the linear lapping sections of water-proof sheets in the peripheral end sections of the sheets to each other at a low manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: This water-proof sheet joining device 11 joins the axially extended lapping sections 26 of water-proof sheets 1 rounded in a tunnel boring machine 3 to each other so as to lay the sheets 1 on the outer peripheral surface of a segment 5 assembled by means of the machine 3. This device 11 is provided with a heating means 34 which heats the lapping sections 26 of the sheets 1, a pressing means 35 which presses the sheets 1 heated by means of the heating means 34, and an axial direction moving means 37 which moves a welding device 36 provided with the heating means 34 and pressing means 35 in the axial direction of the tunnel boring machine 3. In addition, this device is also provided with a peripheral direction moving means 38 which moves the welding device 36 in the peripheral direction of the machine 3.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-proof sheet laying device that does not fluctuate the widths of the lapping sections of water-proof sheets even when the device lays the sheets during the drilling operation of an underground drilling machine. SOLUTION: The water-proof sheet laying device lines a tunnel with a newly laid water-proof sheet 14 along the inner peripheral surface of a tail plate 1a by lapping the edge section of the sheet 14 on the already laid water-proof sheet 13 so as to form a joining section to the sheet 13 and joins the joining section 15 to the sheet 13. The laying device is provided with a cylindrical water-proof sheet receiving frame 2 along which the new water-proof sheet 14 is laid, a supporting frame 3 which is set up in an axially movable state on the inner peripheral side of the frame 2 and supports the frame 2, and newly and already laid water-proof sheet fixing devices 4 and 5 which respectively fix the newly and already laid sheets 14 and 13 to the frame 2. The fixing devices 4 and 5 are installed to the supporting frame 3 and, at the same time, the frame 3 is made to be detachably fixed to the non-sliding section of a shield jack rod.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the joining work which is performed at the time of expanding a water-proof sheet used to line a tunnel easily executable and, at the same time, to surely join the sheet to an already laid water-proof sheet without generating wrinkles. SOLUTION: The water-proof sheet for tunnel is laid on the natural ground side in the tunnel to line the tunnel by lapping the edge section of the main body 2 of the sheet which is formed in a belt-like shape elongated in the peripheral direction of the tunnel and composed of a thermoplastic synthetic resin along the peripheral direction of the main body 2 on the edge section of the already laid water-proof sheet and joining the lapping edge sections to each other. In at least the edge section of the main body 2, a base cloth section 3 is laminated as an intermediate layer. In addition, a strip-shaped belt-like supporting piece 4 which is extended by a prescribed length in the peripheral direction, has a length and width which are nearly equal to those of the superposed section, and is made of a non-thermoplastic material is tentatively fixed to the joining starting end section 1b of the edge section of the main body 2.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breakage of a waterproofing sheet by inserting a plug body forming roughly the same surface as an outer peripheral surface of a segment in a grout hole in the case of installing the waterproofing sheet on an outer periphery of a shield tunnel. SOLUTION: A plug body 5 consists of a cylindrical body having a support plug and a screw pillar respectively on an upper end and a lower end, and in the case of perfectly screwing the screw pillar in a screw part of a grout hole 2, it is constituted in length where an upper end surface of the support plug is positioned roughly on the same surface as an outer surface of a segment 1. In case of constructing a shield tunnel, a waterproofing sheet 4 is installed on an outer periphery of a segment ring. Thereafter, the plug body 5 is perfectly screwed in the grout hole 2 of the segment 1, an upper end surface of the support plug is made roughly the same surface as an outside surface of the segment 1, and the upper end surface of the support plug is made contact with an inside surface of the waterproofing sheet 4. Consequently, the waterproofing sheet is supported on the upper end surface of the support plug, it can resist against water pressure from outside and it is possible to prevent breakage of the waterproofing sheet by water pressure.

A TV set 8 displaying the image taken by the TV camera 7 is installed on an erector beam 2 to enable the operator to watch the image.
