摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a copper-clad laminate of phenol resin having excellent moisture resistance and small heating loss. SOLUTION: A varnish containing a resol resin obtained by reacting a phenol with an aldehyde by adding a tertiary amine and ammonia in the range of 4-16 mols of ammonia based on 1 mol of the tertiary amine is impregnated into a substrate and dried to give a prepreg. Fixed sheets of the prepregs are laminated, and a copper foil is piled on the laminate and heated and pressurized.

Tensile ductility of polyarylate fiber nonwoven fabric is 0.5 to 2,0%, and (base material directional tensile ductility/base material orthogonal directional tensile ductility) is (1 to 2)/(2 to 3).

摘要： PURPOSE:To produce an inexpensive fire-retardant copper clad laminated sheet excellent in low temp. punching processability, solvent resistance and heat resistance by adding a reaction product obtained by reacting a bromine- containing epoxy compd. with a compd. having an amino group and a hydroxyl group represented by a specific formula as a fire retardant. CONSTITUTION:A paper base material is impregnated with varnish prepared by adding a fire retardant to a modified phenol resin modified with drying or semidrying oil based on linoleic acid or linolenic acid and the impregnated base material is dried to form a prepreg. A specified number of the prepregs are superposed one upon another and a copper foil is superposed on the single surface or both surfaces of the formed prepreg composite and the whole is molded under heating and pressure to produce a copper clad laminated sheet. As the fire retardant, a reaction product obtained by reacting a bromine- containing epoxy compd. with a compd. having an amino group and a hydroxyl group represented by the formula I or II (wherein n is an integer of 1-10) is added. The obtained reaction product is reacted with the phenol resin and vegetable oil being a plasticizer to enhance characteristics and favorably influence on the pot life of the prepreg and the varnish.
