    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the low-exposure tomography or X-ray CT fluoroscopy in an X-ray CT apparatus or X-ray CT fluoroscopic apparatus.
      SOLUTION: X-ray data are collected by controlling the position of an X-ray collimator or beam-forming X-ray filter in the direction of a channel so that X rays are applied to a concerned region only. The profile area of the whole subject is obtained or the profile area of the whole subject is estimated based on a view or a scout image in which the whole subject is irradiated among the X-ray projection data. The view in which the whole subject is not irradiated among the collected projection data is reconstructed by estimating a missing part from the profile area of the whole subject and correcting the image. In this way, X-ray exposure of the subject in the tomography of the X-ray CT apparatus or in the X-ray CT fluoroscopy and the X-ray exposure of the hand of an operator performing the puncture can be reduced by irradiating the concerned region only with X rays.
