    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent displacement of an imaging site between a nuclear medicine image and an X-ray CT image in a diagnostic imaging apparatus capable of executing the both of the nuclear medicine examination and X-ray CT scan.
      SOLUTION: A nuclear medicine examination gantry 2 and an X-ray CT scan gantry 3 are installed back to back on a rotating table 71. An imaging table 5 is so installed that the moving direction (z) of a top board 51 where a subject is placed, faces the rotation center of the rotating table 71. The rotating position of the rotating table 71 is so controlled that, in the nuclear medicine examination, a hollow section 21 of the nuclear medicine examination gantry 2 is located at a moving destination of the top board 51 of the imaging table 5 and, in X-ray CT scan, a hollow section 31 of the X-ray CT scan gantry 3 is located at the moving destination of the top board 51.
