摘要： This invention enables a user to convert their favourite DRM protected media files, which would otherwise have significant use restrictions, to media files that can be played without limitation of time. This is especially useful where the DRM protected files are 5?supplied as part of a subscription service and the ability to playback those files ends when the subscription ends. This approach relies on the ability to gather playback metrics for the DRM protected media files, to analyse them to determine the userÕs favourites, and then to provide the user with non-time limited versions of those favourite digital media files. In one implementation, a userÕs favourite music tracks can still be played, even 10?though a music subscription service has ended.

Gearing, driving; feed-motions; toolholders.-Reciprocating metal-cutting machines such as planing, slotting, and shaping machines are provided with a compressed-air engine, controlled by the motions of the machine, for reversing the machine, giving the feed, and moving the tool clear of the work during the idle stroke. Fig. 1 shows a side view of a planing-machine with an air cylinder 20, the piston-rod 22 of which is connected by the link 19 to a shaft 17 which operates the clutch for connecting the slow-speed and fast-speed pulleys to the driving-shaft situated at the other side of the machine. The piston-rod 22 is also secured to a rack 24 for putting on the feed through the segment 23, link 11, and rack 9. The valve 25 of the cylinder 20 is actuated by the dogs 7, 8 on the table 2 acting on the tumbler 5 which is connected by the link 28 to a lever 27 pivoted to a block on the piston-rod 22 and operating the valve through links 29, 26. The machine can be brought to rest by means of the handle 6. For tilting the tool-box 35, a pin 42 on the lever 27 acts on a three-way cock 38 admitting air through pipes 39, 41 behind the piston 37 of a cylinder 36. On the reversal for cutting, the three-way cock puts the pipe 41 in communication with the exhaust 40.
