    • Un proceso que comprende: enfriar gas natural con un intercambiador de calor y un primer expansor. El intercambiador de calor enfría el gas natural de alimentación hasta una temperatura superior a la temperatura de salida del expansor, recalentar el flujo de salida del expansor en un primer conducto frío del intercambiador de calor hasta justo por debajo de la temperatura del gas natural de alimentación de dicho intercambiador de calor; pasar el flujo de salida frío de dicho intercambiador de calor por un segundo expansor en el cual se licua parcialmente; separar el flujo de salida del segundo expansor en fracciones líquida y gaseosa; recoger las fracciones líquidas para su uso como producto de GNL, recalentar la fracción gaseosa en un segundo conducto del lateral frío del intercambiador de calor hasta sustancialmente la misma temperatura que la temperatura del gas natural de alimentación del intecambiador de calor, reciclar la fracción gaseosa recalentada parte como alimentación del primer expansor y parte como alimentación del intercambiador de calor.
