    • The present invention aims to provide a pneumatic tire with sufficiently reduced rolling resistance. The pneumatic tire according to the present invention including a carcass having a carcass main portion extending from a tread portion via a sidewall portion to a bead portion in a toroidal shape and locked on a bead core embedded in the bead portion, and a belt disposed on a crown portion outer peripheral side of the carcass, characterized in that, when mounted on an applicable rim and put under a predetermined internal pressure no-load condition, a minimum value R1 of a curvature radius of a tire width direction cross-section in a tire radial direction outer portion of the carcass main portion positioned on an tire radial direction outer side than a position where a distance measured from a tire radial direction inner end of the carcass outwardly in the tire radial direction becomes ½ of a carcass cross-sectional height is 0.6 times or less of a minimum value R2 of the curvature radius of the tire width direction cross-section of a portion that, in the tire radial direction inner portion of the carcass main portion positioned on the tire radial direction inner side than the tire radial direction outer portion, bulges out in the tire width direction.

    • It is an object of the present invention to provide a solar assisted gas turbine system that has a largely reduced number of heat collectors and a reduced installation area required for installation of the heat collectors. The solar assisted gas turbine system of the invention includes a gas turbine unit having a compressor for compressing air, a combustor for putting the air compressed by the compressor and a fuel into combustion, and a turbine driven by a combustion gas generated in the combustor; a heat collector for collecting solar heat and forming high-pressure hot water; a heat storage tank for storing the heating medium raised in temperature; a heat-exchanger for performing heat exchange between the heating medium and water to form hot water; and an atomizer by which the hot water formed by the heat-exchanger is sprayed into the air to be taken into the compressor.

At the same time, the depth D2 and the width L2 of the chamfers 14c are so set that the ratio of the chamfer depth D2 to the groove depth D1 of the circumferential groove 11d satisfies 0.015≦(D2/D1)≦0.200 and the ratio of the chamfer width L2 to the axial length L1 of the lug grooves 15 satisfies 0.1≦(L2/L1)≦0.85, so that the load to be borne by the wing portions 14b is effectively shifted to the rib portion 14a. In this manner, the pitch noise caused by the lug grooves can be reduced without changing the basic features of the tread pattern, and thus the quietness of vehicular operation is improved.

    • To provide a pneumatic tire in which noise can be reduced without changing the basic design of the block pattern, a chamfered portion 24 is provided at a tire widthwise-direction outer side end 18A of a leading edge 18A of a block 18. When the tire rolls and the block 18 contacts a road surface, first, with respect to the leading edge 18A, a flat portion 22 contacts the ground, and then the chamfered portion 24 contacts the ground. Furthermore, by changing the tire widthwise-direction position of the flat portion 22 in a tire circumferential direction, it is possible for the entire block to gently receive stress generated at the time of rolling, whereby it is possible to suppress the level of noise generated by the block 18 at the time the block 18 contacts the ground at a low level.
