    • A battery pack and method of manufacturing same are provided. The battery pack can stabilize bending of a lead housed in a space defined by an external package. Leads 2, 3 of a battery element are bonded to a circuit board housed in a top cover 6. A holder 11 is mechanically fitted to the top cover 6, made of resin molded material and produced by injection molding, for example. The edge faces of ribs 12a, 12b, 12c formed on the holder 11 serve as planes which receive the circuit board 4 in the top cover 6. The top cover 6 and the holder 11 fitted to each other are turned 90°, and moved toward the opening in the edge face of the cell 1 while bending the leads 2, 3, which are bent along the contours of both the sidewalls and bottom surface of the holder 11 and housed in a space defined by the external package. The circumferential surface of the top cover 6 is bonded by heat to the inner surface of the external package.

    • In a conventional computer mouse integrated with a massager, it is necessary to hold the mouse by a hand when massaging the other body positions than a palm. A massager integrated type optical computer mouse is structured such that a bottom surface portion of the optical computer mouse is formed so as to be depressed as a concave shape to a main body side, a massaging vibrator is arranged in a protruding manner at the concavely depressed position, and any one of operational switches of the computer mouse is changed to a switch for turning on or off a power supply to the massaging vibrator, and changing a vibration pattern, by a selection switch. Accordingly, an operator can bring the concavely depressed position of the computer mouse into close contact with an approximately convex body position so as to massage while gripping the computer mouse by a palm.

    • A new apparatus for turning up and down spectators' seats for a telescopic seating system of the type including a plurality of movable platforms which are arranged in tiers is disclosed. The apparatus essentially comprises a frame fixedly mounted on a movable platform, a foot member fixedly secured to the housing of a seat, a stopper link turnably supported on the foot member, an unlocking member turnably supported on the frame and a leaf spring operatively connected to the rear end of the stopper link. The foot member is formed with projections at the rear end part thereof which are adapted to abut against a front nose of the adjacent upper movable platform as the first-mentioned movable platform is displaced forwardly to the extended position. The foot member assumes the upright standing position by turning up on the frame together with the housing of the seat. The foot member is kept in the upright standing state while the stepped portions on the stopper link are engaged to the rear ends of the stopper pieces of the frame. As the movable platform is displaced backwardly to assume the retracted position, the inclined surface on the unlocking member abuts against the front nose of the adjacent upper movable platform whereby the stopper link is released from the engaged state and the foot member is then caused to turn down under the effect of resilient force of the leaf spring.

    • An apparatus for turning up and down seats for a telescopic seating system includes as essential components a foot on which a single seat is fixedly mounted, a base frame having a support shaft inserted therethrough in the transverse direction so as to allow the foot to be turned up and down about the support shaft, a center shaft extending through the base frame in parallel with the support shaft and including an extension outside of the housing, a guide arm turnably mounted on the extension of the center shaft, a pair of first coil springs mounted on the support shaft within the interior of the base frame so as to allow the foot to be normally biased in the turning-up direction, a second coil spring mounted on the extension of the center shaft so as to allow the guide arm to be normally turnably biased in the forward direction, and a pair of tongue-shaped projections fixedly mounted on the center shaft within the interior of the base frame, a link plate bridged between a front shaft on the foot and a rear shaft on the tongue-shaped projections. When the telescopic seating system is in use, turning movement of the guide arm induced by forward movement of a movable platform at the lower stage is transmitted to the foot via the center shaft, the tongue-shaped projections and the link plate, whereby the foot is turned up to assume the upright standing attitude.
