摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon-sulfur-based superconductor wherein the transition temperature of magnetic susceptibility is equal to or higher than the maximum transition temperature of an oxide superconductor.
SOLUTION: A mixed powder of a graphite powder and a sulfur powder is compression molded, and either the obtained molded product is heated and fired in an inert gas current at 110-350°C or a metal mold containing the molded product is heated and fired in a firing furnace at 500-800°C under pressure. Then, the molded product is annealed at around 200°C and subsequently cooled to the room temperature. The obtained superconductor has different elemental ratios of carbon/sulfur depending on its manufacturing condition and has the transition temperature of the magnetic susceptibility at ≥300 K or around 120 K.
