    • A container having a plurality of chambers chiefly for use in the field of medicine. The body of the container is made of flexible plastics and has partition means dividing the container body into the chambers and permitting communication between the chambers when required. The container body comprises container portions forming the plurality of chambers and including at least one container portion having no cover and at least one container portion having a cover. The cover encloses the container portion therewith to form a closed space therein around the container portion and is made of a flexible film having barrier properties against moisture and gas. At least one of a desiccant and an oxygen absorber can accommodated in the closes space. The container is inexpensive, has high quality and is efficient to use and easy to dispose of.

    • A medical multilayer film chiefly for use in forming medical containers having a plurality of chambers comprises an inner layer, an intermediate layer and an outer layer each made primarily of a polyolefin, the inner layer being formed of resin mixture of an ethylene-alpha-olefin copolymer having a density of 0.930 to 0.945 g/cm.sup.3 and a polypropylene, the intermediate layer including at least one resin mixture layer of resin mixture of an ethylene-alpha-lefin copolymer having a density of 0.920 to 0.945 g/cm.sup.3 and an ethylene-alpha-olefin elastomer having a density of 0.880 to 0.890 g/cm.sup.3 in a mixing ratio by weight of 1:5 to 2:1, the resin mixture layer having a thickness of at least 85% of the overall thickness of the intermediate layer, the outer layer being formed of an ethylene-alpha-olefin copolymer having a density of 0.930 to 0.945 g/cm.sup.3. The film having this structure is excellent in any of heat resistance, transparency, flexibility, impact resistance and easily peelable sealing properties.

A thermal element 10 containing a thermally expandable body (wax 12) inside a case 11 comprises a piston 13 arranged inside the case along the axial line thereof. The inward end of the piston borders on the inside of the thermally expandable body and the outward end thereof protrudes outwardly from one end of the case, thereby enabling the piston to move forward and backward following the expansion and contraction of the thermally expandable body. The piston is slidably held with a guide member 14 disposed in a portion at one end inside the case. Furthermore, a sealing member 15 is disposed in a portion at the inward end of the guide member inside the case and seals the thermally expandable body at the other end inside the case.
