    • An implantable system for infusing a fluid agent and providing electrical stimulation without requiring an implanted pump or implanted source of electrical energy. An implantable housing is fitted with a percutaneous fill port that communicates with a reservoir to hold a fluid agent, such as a drug. An antenna located inside the housing receives radio frequency power signals from an outside antenna. A pulse generator outside the housing receives power and information from the radio frequency signals to produce stimulation pulses. The pulses and the fluid agent are both transported by a catheter to a site of application in the body. A connector allows the stimulation pulses and fluid agent to be transported from the housing to the catheter while maintaining electrical isolation between the stimulating pulses and the fluid agent.

    • A read/write head gimbal is provided including a tab or extension on the end of the gimbal portion which is attached to the head/slider assembly, forming this tab such that, when the gimbal is assembled to the load beam, the formed tab passes through an opening created for this purpose in the load beam, and extends beyond the opening far enough to prevent its returning through the opening after the gimbal and load beam are spot welded together. The tab and opening in the load beam are dimensioned so that during normal read/write operations, there is no contact between the tab and the sides of the opening in the load beam. The tab/opening arrangement is such that shock forces in the direction of travel away from the load beam, or in parallel with the surface of the load beam bracing the gimbal, will result in contact between the tab and the sides of the opening in the load beam, thus preventing excessive motion of the gimbal which could result in permanent deformation of the gimbal.

    • A propellant operated, single shot, silent stud gun attachment device used to attach various articles to structures. The device is particularly suited to use by military units for attachment of munitions or mines to structures such as bridges or buildings. The device utilizes an initiation device attached to a barrel in proximity to a cartridge containing a piston. The initiation of the cartridge is used to drive the piston into a stud and in turn drive the stud into a structure. The entire device becomes attached to the structure, thereby providing a means by which to quietly attach articles to the structure.
