    • A method of tracking a second electronic device with respect to a first electronic device is disclosed. The method includes transmitting a first waveform of a first frequency along a first fixed path associated with the first device. A second waveform having a frequency based on the first frequency is wirelessly transmitted from the first device to the second device along a first wireless path. The second waveform is wirelessly transmitted from the second device to the first device along a second wireless path. The first and second waveforms are received at the phase comparator circuit. A first phase relationship of the received first waveform is then compared to a second phase relationship of the received re-transmitted waveform. A coordinate of the second device is determined with respect to a reference coordinate based on the comparing.

    • A method of tracking a second electronic device with respect to a first electronic device is disclosed. The method includes transmitting a first waveform of a first frequency along a first fixed path associated with the first device.     • A closure (22) for a bottle (20) containing carbonated beverages. The closure (22) comprises an inner part (28) and an outer part (24). The inner part (28) is adapted to receive a portion of a finish of the bottle (20) and includes a plurality of outwardly extending first cam surfaces (32) that are obliquely angled to the longitudinal axis of the closure (24). The outer part (24) is adapted to fit substantially over the inner part (28), the outer part (24) including a plurality of inwardly extending second cam surfaces (34) that are obliquely angled to the longitudinal axis of the closure (22). The outer part (24) is movable relative to the inner part (28) between a closed position in which at least a portion of the outer part (24) urges at least a portion of the inner part (28) against the neck to resist disengagement of the inner part (28) from the finish and an open position in which the inner part (28) allows disengagement of the inner (28) part from the finish. When the outer part (24) is in the closed position: applying a longitudinally directed force to the outer part (24), relatively away from the inner part (28), causes the outer part (24) to move longitudinally relative to the inner part (28) towards the open position as the first cam surfaces (32) travel relatively longitudinally away from the second cam surfaces (24); and twisting the outer part in a first direction about the longitudinal axis relative to the inner part (28) drives the inner and outer parts longitudinally towards the open position as the second cam surfaces (34) travel relatively along the first cam surfaces (32).

    • A method and system for identifying and providing absolute identification on any visual medium or devices, to permit accurate recall of unique characteristics of the device being identifying. The recorded production information become the characteristics of the device, enabling fast and accurate identification and retrieval at a later date. The recording apparatus basically comprises a keyboard for inputting identification information for each device of a production lot, an electronic encoder for encoding the identification information into an index code, a laser device for etching or engraving the index code to a surface of each device, an inking device for filling the etched surface of each device with ultraviolet or infrared ink, and a spraying device for spraying a protective coat over the etched surface of each device. The index code can be retrieved at a later time for identifying each device from the production lot and the index code will remain invisible and not be seen by the naked eye. The retrieval apparatus basically comprises a laser illuminating device for emitting a beam of light onto the etched surface of each device and a code reader for receiving the deflected beam of light and translating the encoded index code into a readable data.
