    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal structure of an optical fiber cord, that is capable of suppressing bendings in the terminal region of the optical fiber cord.
      SOLUTION: With a boot 18 provided on the optical fiber inserting end of an optical connector 10, an end of an optical fiber cord 1 is fixedly inserted into the optical connector through the optical fiber cord inserting hole 9 of the boot 18. The outer circumference of the optical fiber cord 1 on a side to be inserted through by the optical connector 10 is covered with a linear reinforcing pipe 11 fitted to the outer circumference. One end of the reinforcing pipe 11 is fixedly press-fitted, without using an adhesive, to the middle of the optical fiber cord inserting hole 9 of the boot 18, while the other end of the reinforcing pipe 11 is extended outwardly from the boot 18 to protect the optical fiber cord 1. The extended length of the reinforcing pipe 11 from the boot 18 is set to a long that can suppress the bending of the optical fiber cord 1 at the entrance of the optical fiber cord inserting hole 9 in the boot 18.
