    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heater structure of an antidazzle mirror, which is simplified in structure, even in the structure having a heater function in addition to an antidazzle function.
      SOLUTION: In the EC (electrochromic) mirror, an EC cell 5 is disposed sandwiched between a pair of glass substrates. The EC cell 5 includes a pair of electrodes 6, 8, and an EC layer sandwiched therebetween. A positive heater terminal 14 and a negative heater terminal 15 are provided on the both sides of the transparent electrode 8. The positive heater terminal 14 is connected to the counter electrode 6 via a resistor 12. When the heater function is activated in the EC mirror, a voltage is applied between the pair of the heater terminals 14, 15, so as to energize the transparent electrode 8 with the counter electrode 6 opened. Thereby, the transparent electrode 8 is heated, so that droplets and the like adherent to the mirror surface are evaporated through the heat of the transparent electrode 8.

Therefore, frictional resistance acting on between the clutch 50 and the gear 42, and the stopper 60 and the case 28 can be decreased, so that driving torque of a motor 36 for returning to an ordinary state can be set smaller, thereby achieving miniaturization of the motor 36.
