    • PURPOSE:To reliably operate an electric-wire cladding line and prevent occurrence of any accidental trouble by controlling the driving speed of a slave with use of a multiplication value obtained through multiplication of a counter-logarithmic value of a draw ratio setting value and a master signal to thereby reduce the number of causes by which the accidental trouble occurs. CONSTITUTION:A counter-logarithmic value calculation means 12 is connected to a draw-ratio setting means 11 to determine the value of 10 from a draw-ratio setting signal ei, and calculates a counter-logarithmic signal 10 in the case where the value of n varies between +1 and -1. Next, a multiplication value calculation means 13 determines a product of a signal eo and a master signal eh prepared by causing a detection signal from a conductor delivery speed detection means 6 to pass through a voltage converter, etc., and thereby converting it into a low-voltage value, to generate the product signal as a slave setting signal es. Thus, the extrusion speed adjustment is made in response to the signal es while, on the other hand, the extrusion speed detection is sequentially performed by an extrusion speed detection means and the resulting detection signal is fed back. The draw ratio is accurately set in this manner. This enables making easy the control of the slave driving speed and simplifying the control circuit to lessen the danger of occurrence of an accidental trouble.

    • PURPOSE:To accurately regulate the temp. of a traveling wire body in a short period of time by compensating the deviation in the zero point in the input characteristics of a heating means and controlling a means for regulating electric energy at the point of the time when a line speed is changed. CONSTITUTION:The temp. before heating of the wire body W is measured by a temp. detecting section 33 and is inputted to a control section 13. The heating temp. of the wire body W is inputted from a setter to the control section 13. An output setting volume control 14a is regulated after the control section 13 starts operating. The control section 13 reads the voltage of the output setting volume control, output voltage, output current and line speed voltage therein and determines a reference electric power from these values. The output setting volume control 14a is regulated again to determine the true temp. before heating when the temp. before heating, etc., change. The control section 13 substitutes the previously stored voltage of the setting volume control, reference output voltage, reference output current and reference line speed voltage with the present values and determines the fresh reference electric power.

    • PURPOSE:To attain the target temp. precisely by calculating temp. rise of a running wire with a control means, and adjusting the input heat amount of an electric heating means in accordance with the data of temp. rise. CONSTITUTION:A control means 12 calculates the corrected heating input amount from comparison of the sensed temp. given by a temp. sensor 4 with the target temp. given by a data input part 15, the data of a linear velocity sensing means 2 consisting of a contact roller 2a and a tacho generator 2b, and the initial temp. and the reference heating input amount. In the control means 12, namely, the ratio of the temp. rise data corresponding to the input heat amount due to either initial or arbitrary regular/reverse thyristors 6, 7 to the target temp. rise data is multiplied 13 with input heat amount, and thus a power amount adjusting means 3 is driven. In case the target temp. rise is not obtained by the first time corrected heating input amount or in case the linear velocity has varied, correction is repeated on the basis of specified computations.

    • PURPOSE:To detect a length measuring error while an apparatus is being operated by a method wherein the length measuring error at every pulse spacing is computed on the basis of the clocked value of a pulse spacing by a pulse encoder and on the basis of a definite value decided by a mechanical constitution. CONSTITUTION:A length measuring error display device 11 sets registers Lepsilon to Lepsilon (Lepsilon to Lepsilon3 hold length measuring errors at a first inspection cycle to a third inspection cycle and Lepsilon holds their integrated value) to a value 0. When it detects the pulse rise of a pulse encoder 4, it starts a timer T,, and it starts to clock the first inspection cycle. A linear-velocity signal V at this time is taken into from a linear-velocity detector 12c, and its value is set in a register V1. In addition, a timer T2 for second- detection-cycle clocking is reset, the pulse rise is detected again, the timer T1 is stopped, a clocking operation at the first detection cycle is finished, and a clocking operation at the second detection cycle is started. A clocking error epsilon1 at the first detection cycle is computed on the basis of epsilon1=t1 (clocked time by timer T1)XV1 (value of register V1) L (constant by mechnical constitution), and it is integrated and displayed in the register Lepsilon. The second and third detection cycles are processed in the same manner.

    • PURPOSE:To enable manufacturing a good quality of cable by providing a cooling-water feeding means, a feed-water flow control means, and an interfacial drawing-off means, thereby reliably adjusting the water level of a cooling water and making a crosslinking device operation smooth. CONSTITUTION:When starting a cooling-water level control device, a feed-water flow control means 60 is operated, and a flow detection is made. At the same time, limitation is made of the degree of opening of the flow channels and the number of revolutions of a pump in a cooling-water feeding means 54, so as to make a control to maintain the quantity of feed water to be fixed, independently of the internal pressure of a crosslinking pipe 50. When the water level in a cooling section 52 amounts to several tens of percent, a state of feeding a fixed-flow cooling water is changed to a flow-controlled state based on the water level in the cooling section 52 and the quantity of feed water. Under a condition in which the cooling water in the section 52 reaches a maximal level to flow down from a water discharge pipe 57, regulation is made of the cooling-water transfer quantity in accordance with the water level in a storage water tub 58. Further, the suspended matter mixed into the cooling water is removed through operation of an interfacial draw-off means 62. This enables accurately controlling the quantity of feed water and reliably regulating the level of the water to produce a cable smoothly and reliably.
