    • PURPOSE: To obtain a Cu alloy with heat resistance and superior electric conductivity by adding a little Y to a Cu-Sn alloy and restricting the oxygen content to a specified amount or below.
      CONSTITUTION: Electrolytic copper and electrolytic tin are melted with a high- frequency vacuum melting furnace, and a Cu-10% Y mother alloy is added to refine a Cu-Sn-Y alloy contg. 0.02W0.5wt% Sn, 0.005W0.10wt% Y and ≤0.015wt% oxygen. This molten alloy is cast into an ingot. After planing both sides of the ingot, the ingot is hot rolled and formed into a sheet by repeating cold rolling and annealing. Thus, a Cu alloy with superior electric conductivity and tensile strength fit for fins of a radiator is obtd.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new device and method for plastic forming, because by the conventional plastic forming method, namely ECAP method, shearing force can be applied only once per each forming procedure due to press-fitting of forming material into a die and plastic forming is repeatedly required by changing the direction of the forming material to obtain a distortion-accumulated isotopic crystal, which requires complicated operation. SOLUTION: When plastic forming is carried out by forcibly flowing the forming material 35 in a flow path 34 of a cylindrical container, multiple bends 37, 38 are formed in the flow path to apply shearing force multiple times to the forming material at the bends. Differently from the conventional ECAP method, multiple bends give shearing force multiple times to the forming material by one action of press-fitting of the material and improve efficiency of distortion generation.
