    • Preparation of a nanoemulsion by diluting a microemulsion comprising pseudo-cosmotropic substances, which are poorly soluble in water or insoluble in water and which lower at least one temperature of the microemulsion phase boundaries to a lower level, is claimed. Independent claims are included for: (1) the nanoemulsion prepared by the process, where an adjuvant on the basis of an organo-modified polysiloxane compound of formula (R1a-[O] z-Si(CH 3) 2-[O-Si(CH 3) 2] x-[O-Si(CH 3)([O] z-R)] y-O-Si(CH 3) 2-[O] z-R1a) (1a) is present; and (2) a microemulsion prepared by a process comprising (a) preparation of a mixture (2) with at least one pseudo-cosmotropic substance, water, optionally an organo-modified polysiloxane, optionally a hydrophobic substance and at least one emulsifier, where: at least one of the phase boundaries of the microemulsion phase of this mixture is at a lower temperature than the corresponding phase boundary of the microemulsion phase of a mixture (1) without a pseudo-cosmotropic substance, but otherwise with the same composition as mixture (2); and the microemulsion has a storage stability of at least 5 years at 25 deg C. x : 0-200; y : 0-100; R1a : R or an alkyl radical; R : -(CH 2) n-(O) o-(C 2H 4O) p(C 3H 6O) q(C 2H 3LO) r-K 1> and/or C mH 2m+1; n : 0, 3, 4 or 6; o, z : 0 or 1; m : 1-40; p, q, r : 0-50; L : ethyl or phenyl; and K 1> : H, alkyl radical having 4 or fewer carbon atoms, or acetyl group, with the proviso that the molecule must comprise at least one group R.
