    • The invention relates to equipment for the continuous production of foam boards, which may be laminated between facings, from a liquid foamable reaction mixture. The apparatus broadly comprises(i) a conveyor,(ii) an inclined table at one end of said conveyor, the incline of said table sloping downwardly toward said conveyor,(iii) a foam mixture application device located above said downwardly sloping surface, and(iv) a transverse foam mixture distribution device located downstream of said application device and located above said downwardly sloping surface thereby forming a space therewith. When sheets or relatively thin foam boards or sandwich boards are produced, the device used is generally additionally equipped with an upper conveyor. This invention primarily relates to such double conveyors. The liquid reaction mixture must be applied over the entire width in a particularly uniform layer in order to obtain a perfect final product. The device of the invention can also be used for the continuous foaming of buns.

    • In data transmitting systems, an apparatus for synchronizing the frame clock in units/nodes. The apparatus has a phase detector and a voltage controlled oscillator. At least one input of the phase detector is supplied with an incoming clock signal and another input is supplied with an output signal of the voltage controlled oscillator. The output signal of the voltage controlled oscillator is conducted over a divider, which is connected to a frame clock phase detector for setting its division factor. The frame clock phase detector is supplied with an input frame clock, the output of the variable divider, and at least one output of an output divider. The at least one output of the output divider divides the output signal of the controlled oscillator into the output frame clock. The frame clock phase detector is configured for the output of a pulse that temporarily raises or lowers the division factor of the divider when the phase difference between input and output clock deviates from a prescribable quantity.

    • A process is provided for the production of synthetic polyurethane plastics, particularly foam plastics, containing biuret groups by reacting polyisocyanates, polyhydroxyl and/or polycarboxyl compounds, flame inhibitors and, if desired, blowing agents, emulsifiers, activators and other additives which is characterized by using as the polyisocyanate solutions in monomeric polyisocyanates of from about 1 per cent to 85 per cent of polyisocyanates containing biuret groups and having the formula: ##EQU1## in which R is an aromatic, araliphatic or cycloaliphatic radical which may, if desired, be substituted andn is an integer from 0 to 5, wherein the proportion of biuret-polyisocyanates having more than three isocyanate groups is at least 20 per cent by weight based on the total quantity of biuret-polyisocyanates, and the solutions contain from about 0.03 per cent to about 5 per cent by weight of chemically combined emulsifiers.
