摘要： Mineral fiber products, in particular rigid bonded mineral fiber products, are provided which comprise composite mineral fibers having a coating-core configuration wherein the core provides at least 90% by weight of the fibers and is formed of mineral melt and the coating is coated onto the core. The mineral melt is chosen so that the fibers without coating have adequate biological solubility and the coating comprises a phosphate or hydrogen phosphate of alkali metal, quaternary ammonium or ammonium in an amount of at least 0.3% or by weight of the core. The coated fibers retain their biological solubility while improving resistance to ageing in use.

The system comprises at least one layer of a chemically resistant adhesive film and printed matter which together cooperate to form a marker. The adhesive film is made of a material selected from the group of polymers which adhere to a substrate upon the application of heat and which are resistant to caustic solutions and solvents, such as methylene chloride. The adhesive film has a chemically resistant front and rear surface and an adhesive rear surface for adhering to a substrate. One of the front or rear surfaces contains the printed matter. There is also disclosed a method for producing an ultrathin chemically resistant marking system.

The cap or sheath includes a configured interior shape for holding the inserted wires, and is designed to permit the adhesive/sealant to flow around the inserted wires. The cap or sheath typically forms a closure at one end of the dimensionally-recoverable tubing or is positioned at or adjacent to a closure end of the tubing. At least the exterior, and preferably all of the cap or sheath is made of non-conductive material.

摘要： A foamable copolymer based coupling is provided for securely affixing a light emitting glass lamp in a metal base to form a lamp assembly. The copolymer is preferably selected from ethylene vinyl acetate, ethylene methyl acrylate, and combinations thereof. The foamable coupling may be placed around one end of the glass lamp or in the lamp base before the lamp and base are matingly engaged. The assembled lamp is then heated to a temperature, which causes the foamable coupling to expand and securely affix the lamp in the base.

摘要： A method, and product from the method, of faceting a gemstone in which the facets, when combined with the polishing/non-polishing of the facet form an image such as the Star-of-David. The image is visible when viewed through the table of the gem. On one end of a clear or substantially clear gemstone, a series of facets are made which combine to create lines and boundaries. Through selective polishing of the facets, usually as they are made, some of the facets so created are darker and more visible than the others. These darker facets assist in forming the Star-of-David, or other image, visible through the table of the finished gemstone.
