    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antiobesity agent and antiobesity food that is prepared by using the locule membrane of citrus fruits as a raw material. SOLUTION: The locule membranes of citrus fruits are used as a raw material to produce an antiobesity food material that has lipolytic action and pancreatic lipase inhibitory action, and the production process comprises the following steps: (1) from the orifice discharge waste obtained when citrus fruits are squeezed with an inline squeezer, plug-like pericarp and seeds are removed to prepare a fraction; (2) water is added to the fraction, then the mixture is separated into a liquid part and a solid part; (3) the liquid part is concentrated to prepare a fraction A mainly having the lipolytic action; (4) the solid part is dried to prepare a fraction B mainly having the pancreatic lipase inhibitory action; (5) the fraction A and/or the fraction B are mixed at a certain ratio to prepare the antiobesity food material having the above both actions, and the antiobesity food material processed according to this invention.
