    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a jelly-containing beverage by which homogeneous jelly is produced at normal temperatures and a jelly-containing beverage is inexpensively produced using the jelly in a continuous process: and to provide a jelly-containing beverage. SOLUTION: The method for producing a jelly-containing beverage comprises the following process: adding a food additive or food applicable to reduction in pH, into neutral or alkaline dispersion liquid where thickening polysaccharide having cationic reaction is dissolved and cationic raw material insoluble in water in neutral or alkaline condition such as calcium carbonate as solid fine powder granules is dispersed as a solid pulverized particles so as to make the dispersion acidize; mixing the beverage with the jelly obtained by gelatinizing the thickening polysaccharide through ionizing the cation; and subjecting the mixture to simultaneous sterilization.
