摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic surface emitting laser constitution performing the optimization of an organic active region, improving a power conversion factor, and suited for removing spurious parasitic spontaneous emission.
SOLUTION: This organic vertical cavity laser light emitting device includes a bottom dielectric stack reflecting the light over a predetermined wavelength range, an organic active region containing an emissive material for generating laser beam, and an upper dielectric stack spaced from the bottom dielectric stack and reflecting the light over the predetermined wavelength range. A pumping beam light is transmitted and introduced into the organic active region through at least one of the dielectric stacks. The organic active region includes one or more periodic gain regions and organic spacer layers that are arranged at both sides of the periodic gain region in such a manner that the periodic gain regions are aligned with the antinode of the standing-wave electromagnetic field of the device. Moreover, the spacer layer is substantially transparent to the laser beam.
