    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip for a dropper device efficiently fittable to an overhead catenary for a short time and preventing dropping and loss of components during work.
SOLUTION: In the clip 1 for the dropper device, a pair of hinged first and second holding pieces 2, 3 are fastened by a rectangular head bolt 7. An insertion hole 11 to which a shaft part 9 of the bolt 7 is inserted is provided in the holding piece 2, and a rectangular hole 12 is provided in the holding piece 3. The rectangular hole 12 has a shape to which a head part 10 of the bolt 7 is inserted at a predetermined relative angle around the axis, and is not inserted at a relative angle around the axis orthogonal to the predetermined angle. The holding piece 3 has a rotation prevention part 13 for inhibiting the rotation of the head part 10 of the bolt 7 in the position at the angle around the axis preventing insertion of the head part 10 of the bolt 7. A space between the holding pieces 2, 3 is opened at the predetermined relative angle around the axis of the bolt 7, and thus, an eye part 22 of a dropper line 21 is locked on the shaft part 9 without removing the bolt 7.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tension balancer capable of dealing even with significant elongation/contraction of an overhead line which cannot be absorbed through elongation/contraction of a spring and of sustaining a constant tension. SOLUTION: A tubular casing 1 is received in an outer casing 3 such that it can project/retract freely in the axial direction. A threaded rod 15 and a nut 12 screwing each other to convert an axial relative displacement into a rotary motion are interposed between them. The threaded rod 15 or the nut 12 is rotary driven by a motor 18 to displace the casings 3 and 1 relatively in the axial direction. A position detecting means for detecting relative position in the axial direction is interposed between the casing 1 and an inside member 2. Based on relative positional information thus detected, a motor 28 is controlled to locate them constantly at specified relative positions. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
