    • A multiple product dispensing system (100) includes a plurality of use solution dispensers (10a, 10b, 10c) and a controller (110) for selecting one of the dispensers (10a, 10b, 10c) according to a preset regimen, e.g., selecting different dispensers on different days of the week. Each dispenser (10a, 10b, 10c) dispenses a controlled concentration of use solution using a diluent delivery apparatus (13) that delivers a diluent to form a liquid concentrate from a solid chemical composition (22), and to form make-up diluent for diluting the liquid concentrate and forming a use solution of controlled concentration. A foam reducer (24) reduces the kinetic energy of the make-up diluent prior to mixing with the liquid concentrate to reduce foaming. An unskilled operator may operate the dispensing system (100) to dispense a use solution of carefully controlled concentration, and the controller (110) will automatically select the proper dispenser according to the preset regimen, without any additional input on the part of the operator. Therefore, the likelihood of operator error occurring is greatly reduced by the automatic selection of the proper dispenser (10a, 10b, 10c) and the control over use solution concentration.

    • The present invention is directed to compositions that include: (a) about 0.1 to about 55 wt-% of an alkyl ether amine composition of the formula (la): Rl-O-R2 NH-A (la) wherein A is hydrogen or R 3 NH 2 , R is a C 6 -C 28 fatty aliphatic group, and R 2 and R 3 are each independently a C 1 -C 8 alkylene; an alkyl diamine compound of formula (Ib): RNCH 2 CH 2 CH 2 NH 2 (Ib) wherein R is C 6 -C 20 alkyl; or a mixture thereof (b) about 0.1 to about 55 wt-% of propoxylated or mixed alkoxylated quaternary ammonium compound of the formula (II) (II)wherein R 4 , R 5 , R 6 , and R 7 are each independently hydrogen, C 1 -C 10 alkyl, or C 1 -C 10 alkoxy, such that at least two of R 4 , R 5 , R 6 , and R 7 are a C 1 -C 10 alkyl, or at least one of R 4 , R 5 , R 6 , and R 7 are a C 1 -C I0 alkoxy; and X includes an anion; (c) a stabilizer including a neutralizing acid and a nonionic surfactant; and (d) water. The present invention is also directed to methods of drying and polishing a vehicle surface by using the vehicle care composition.

    • We have found an alkaline warewashing detergent composition that can contain a critical amount of a nonionic rinse agent that when used in automatic warewashing machines permits the use of a potable water rinse without the addition of a separate rinse agent. Sufficient residual nonionic surfactant from the alkaline detergent remains on the surface ware and internal machine and rack surfaces after washing to promote adequate sheeting in the rinse cycle. The residual nonionic surfactant on internal surfaces dissolves in the rinse water to create an effective aqueous rinse agent. The nonionic rinse agents can be a single nonionic for both foam reduction cleaning and sheeting or can be a blend of nonionic materials providing these functions. The detergent can be in the form of a particulate, pelletized or block solid. The detergent can be used in a variety of high temperature and low temperature automatic warewashing machines including large multizone conveyor machines, or relatively small institutional machines that have a single washing chamber.

    • An alkaline sensitive metal cleaning composition is provided. The alkaline sensitive metal cleaning composition contains an alkaline concentrate and a corrosion inhibitor concentrate. The alkaline concentrate includes a source of alkalinity in an amount sufficient to provide a use solution having a pH of at least 10.0, and a first chelant component that exhibits soil removal properties when used at a pH of at least 10.0. The corrosion inhibitor concentrate includes a corrosion inhibitor component for reducing corrosion of alkaline sensitive metals when used in a use solution having a pH of at least 10.0, a second chelant component for stabilizing the corrosion inhibitor in the corrosion inhibitor concentrate when the corrosion inhibitor concentrate is provided at a pH that is less than 8.0, and a surfactant component for providing cleaning properties when used at a pH of at least 10.0. A threshold inhibitor/crystal modifier can be provided in at least one of the alkaline concentrate and the corrosion inhibitor concentrate to stabilize the corrosion inhibitor in a use solution at a pH of at least 10.0. A method for cleaning an alkaline sensitive metal surface and a washing facility are provided.
