    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cement admixture from which a cement hardened material such as low exothermic low shrinkage concrete or the like can be obtained while suppressing excess expansion as an expanding material, and to provide a cement composition. SOLUTION: The cement admixture as an expanding material contains quicklime, anhydrous gypsum and inorganic powder such as limestone fine powder, which are blended so that the weight ratio of the quicklime to the total weight of the resulting mixture is 25-50%, the weight ratio of the anhydrous gypsum to the weight 1 of the quicklime is 0.25-1, and the weight ratio of the inorganic powder to the weight 1 of the quicklime is 0.7-2. It is preferable that the weight ratio(%) of quicklime:anhydrous gypsum:inorganic powder is 25-45:10-50:25-45.
