    • A door bracket is mounted to a vehicle sliding door. A primary track is mounted along a side and extends to a remote end. A roller bracket having rollers received by the primary track is movable between a first position proximate the opening and a second position at the remote end. A link is pivotally joined to the roller bracket by a first pivot and pivotally joined to the door bracket by a second pivot. The link is rotatable around the first pivot between a first orientation and a second orientation. The link comprises an extension arm extending from the link toward the primary track. A shift mechanism contacts the extension arm when the roller bracket is at an intermediate trip point so that the link shifts from its first orientation to its second orientation when the sliding door is being opened.

    • An interlock assembly is provided for a vehicle having a body with a selectively openable slidable door and a selectively openable fuel filler door mounted thereto. The fuel filler door is operatively connected with the interlock assembly. The interlock assembly includes a bracket member and a bell crank member pivotably mounted with respect to the bracket member. A pin is slidably disposed with respect to the bracket member and is movable between an extended position and a retracted position. The bell crank member is operable to urge the pin into the extended position when the fuel filler door is open and the retracted position when the fuel filler door is closed. The pin operates to engage a bore defined by the slidable door when in the extended position to substantially lock the slidable door. Preferably, the interlock assembly is mounted with respect to a rear jamb formed by the body.

    • A motor-vehicle door latch has a latching fork and a release pawl engageable with the fork and pivotal between a latched position retaining the fork and an unlatched position. An inside door handle displaceable between a center rest position, an end open position, and an end locked position is connected to one end of the core of a bowden cable having a sheath fixed to the housing. A first actuating lever pivotal about an axis offset from the locking-lever axis has an arm and is connected to the other end of the cable core for joint movement of the first actuating lever with the inside handle. A second actuating lever pivotal between an actuated and an unactuated position has a formation engageable with the first actuating lever. A first locking lever pivotal about an axis fixed offset from the axis of the first actuating lever between a locked position and an unlocked position is formed with a cutout in which is engaged the arm of the first actuating lever in the rest and locked positions of the inside handle. A second locking lever pivotal also between a locked and unlocked position is permanently coupled to the first locking lever for synchronous movement therewith. The pawl is displaced into the unlatched position on displacement of the second actuating lever into the actuated position and is decoupled from the second locking lever in the locked positions of the locking levers.

    • A door includes an exterior-facing surface, an inner structure, and a latch mechanism. The door also includes a key-cylinder attached to and accessible from the exterior-facing surface, and adapted to selectively lock and unlock the latch mechanism, and a pawl adapted to be rotated by the key-cylinder to unlock the latch mechanism. Furthermore, the door includes a feature arranged on the inner structure and aligned with the key-cylinder, and a component connected to the key-cylinder, aligned with and extending into the feature without contacting the inner structure. The component is configured to not impede the rotation of the pawl when the component is aligned with the feature. Additionally, the component is configured to restrict angular movement of the key-cylinder with respect to the door, when the key-cylinder is forcibly manipulated thereby causing the component to contact the inner structure.
