    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous ink for etching resist, which allows photographic printing and printing by an inkjet printing system which can perform a minute and accurate photographic print, and is useful in the viewpoint of environmental protection, as the formed protective film can endure the corrosive liquid of the etching, and in addition dissolves by the aqueous alkali solution, and the development can be performed.SOLUTION: The ink for etching resist includes water, water-soluble organic solvent and polymer, and is used for photographic printing by the inkjet printing system. In the etching resist aqueous inkjet ink composition, the polymer is the vinyl polymer whose constituent is α, βunsaturated bond-containing monomer having a carboxyl group, wherein acid value of the polymer is 50-250 KOH/g, and the number-average molecular weight is 2,000-20,000. In addition, in the polymer, at least a part of the acid value of the polymer originated from the carboxyl group is neutralized by specific compound, and the form is aqueous dispersion or emulsion having an average particle size of 10-200 nm.
