    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold-rolling oil composition excellent in scorching resistance and oil water separation property, and a method for cold rolling by using the same.
      SOLUTION: This directly oiling type cold rolling oil composition contains the following components 1-3. Component 1; mineral oil, a synthetic ester oil or an animal or plant oil; component 2: A homopolymer or copolymer of a cationic monomer in a group A, or a copolymer of the cationic monomer in the group A and a monomer in a group B; and component 3: A sulfur-based, phosphorus-sulfur based or phosphorus-based extreme pressure agent.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing oil for a brittle material having excellent dispersibility in water when mixed with a polishing material, scarcely aggregating even when abrasive grains settle and readily redispersible, a composition for processing the brittle material containing the processing oil and polishing material and a method for processing the brittle material using the composition for processing.
      SOLUTION: The processing oil for the brittle material comprises (A) 5-80 mass% of at least one kind selected from the group of 7-20C saturated at unsaturated fatty acids and hydroxyfatty acids, (B) a basic substance in an amount of 1-2 mol based on 1 mol of the component (A) and (C) ≥5 mass% of at least one kind selected from the group consisting of water, polyethylene glycol, polyglycols and alcohols. The composition for processing the brittle material comprises the processing oil and polishing material. The method for processing the brittle material comprises using the composition for processing.
