    • An apparatus and a method for a random access scheme for multi-channel in a wireless communication system are provided. The method for performing the random access scheme for the multi-channel in the wireless communication system includes randomly generating a backoff counter value to transmit data; adjusting the backoff counter value by taking into account status of a plurality of idle subcarrier sets per backoff slot; when the backoff counter value becomes zero, selecting one or more subcarrier sets to carry the data from the idle subcarrier sets; and transmitting the data through the selected one or more subcarrier sets. The data collision probability between the terminals can be lowered, the channel utility can be enhanced, the transfer rate in the single-channel random access scheme can be raised, and the consumption of the radio resource can be reduced without using signals for the band request and allocation.

    • A data transmission method and apparatus using a multi-point cooperative transmission for a backhaul link transmission of a relay communication system. A data transmission method of a base station in a radio relay communication system include: obtaining, by a first BS, first radio resource information scheduled by a neighbor BS with respect to a first relay node (RN) located within the coverage of the first BS; when the first BS has data to be transmitted to the first RN, scheduling the data of the first BS on first radio resource allocated by the neighbor BS; and transmitting, by the first BS, the data of the first BS on the first BS, wherein the first RN is located within an overlapping cell coverage between the first BS and the neighbor BS. Thus, backhaul link transmission efficiency between the BS and the RN in the relay communication system can be improved and an inter-cell interference with respect to a backhaul link can be reduced.

    • The present invention provides a method for avoiding interference resulting from data transmission between an adjacent second base station and a second relay station placed within the coverage of the adjacent second base station. The method for avoiding interference comprises: receiving the radio resource scheduling information from the adjacent second base station; checking the radio resources used in the data transmission between the adjacent second base station and the second relay station based on the received radio resource scheduling information; and scheduling at least one radio resource among uplink radio resources and downlink radio resources for at least one first terminal and at least one first relay station which are connected to a first base station in order to avoid interference with the checked radio resource if the radio resource used in the data transmission from the second base station to the second relay station is checked as the uplink resource or if the radio resource used in the data transmission from the second relay station to the second base station is checked as the downlink resource.
