摘要： PURPOSE: To obtain good-quality waste water without hindering the removal of scum and sludge by using a scum rake mechanism having a tractor or a center-driven machine and connecting a scum pipe extended from the scum rake mechanism to a scum discharge pipe piercing the inside of a center column. CONSTITUTION: A clarifier tank 1 is composed of plural submerged effluent pipes 33 projecting from the sidewall toward the center, a center column 5 for introducing unclarified sewage from the lower part into the tank 1, a multiarm bottom rake mechanism 7 and a center-driven rake device having a rake mechanism other than the rake mechanism 7 and arranged rotatably around the column 5. The bottom rake mechanism 7 and the scum rake mechanism are driven in the same or opposite directions at different speeds, the scum rake mechanism is rotatably supported by the center column 5 and has a tractor or a center driving machine 8 and has a scum pipe 20 communicating with a scum drain projected from the center column 5.
