    • The invention relates to a lock cylinder having a housing (2) and mounted rotatably therein a lock member (4), and having a driving shaft (9) for driving the lock member (4), characterised by a central element (17) which comprises electrical conductors passing right through the driving shaft (9) and the lock member (4) in the form of an operative connection from one side of the cylinder to the other existing independently of operation of the lock member.
      The central element (17) in the form of a rigid body is connected non-rotatably at each end (17', 17") to a respective unit carrier (12, 18), especially for electronic units.
      The driving shaft (9) is arranged to be coupled via a coupling (K) with the lock member (4) in a position so that they rotate together.
