    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve suppressing wear of a movable core, with excellent durability and reliability.
      SOLUTION: This injector (fuel injection valve) includes: a tubular housing; a coil arranged on the outer periphery side of the housing; a tubular stator arranged on the inner periphery side of the housing and formed of a magnetic material; a tubular movable core 22 arranged on the inner periphery side of the housing by axially facing the stator, and attracted to the stator by magnetic attraction force generated between the stator and itself by carrying a current to the coil; and a needle (valve member) axially moving along with the movable core 22, and opening/closing an injection hole injecting a fuel. The movable core 22 and the needle are formed as separate components, and the needle is slidably and penetratingly arranged in a through-hole 23 axially formed in the inner peripheral part of the movable core 22. A surface hardening layer 61 is formed on the inner peripheral surface 231 of the through-hole 23 of the movable core 22.
