摘要： A tool chuck provided with a draw-in rod axially movably located inside a tool spindle and attached to a locking head which is positively engageable with the tang of a tool, and which comprises locking members movably contained in radial openings in the wall of the locking head and adapted to be pushed by a control sleeve embracing the locking head into recesses in the tang of the tool. The said locking members having the form of sliding members which are substantially radially movable in suitably contrived ways, characterized in that the locking members have the basic shape of circular segments each located with its circularly arcuate edge facing radially inwards, part of said edge being slidable in slots on faces of complementary shape and at least part being adapted to engage the tang at the end of the tool shank.

摘要： We are dealing with a mechanism for clamping a second machine part 4 which is supported movably with respect to a first machine part 2. A clamping bar 28, which extends in the direction of movement is arranged on the second machine part 4, on which clamping bar can be clamped a clamping member 32 which is supported freely movably in directions transverse to the direction of movement of the first machine part, but otherwise clearance free. Since the clamping member 22 is as a whole freely movable in directions transverse to the direction of movement, no reactive forces whatsoever are created in the direction of movement during the clamping operation. The inventive clamping mechanism is preferably used in feed-movable spindle sleeves (tail spindles) in order to assure a secure clamping in an axial direction and in a peripheral direction, without producing forces which act transversely to the spindle axis.
