摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine having a bearing shell for satisfying different requests in points of load support capacity and resistance to a dust; and a method for manufacturing these layers. SOLUTION: The internal combustion engine has the bearing shell formed of a phase of at least two sliding bearing materials mutually spatially separated, arranged on a surface of the bearing shell and having different hardness and substantially formed of a bearing layer by thermal spraying. The method includes a step of mechanically adjusting one bearing surface, a step of covering the bearing surface with a material of the bearing shell by one thermal spraying method, and a step of processing one thermal spraying layer by smooth finishing, and manufactures the bearing shell for the internal combustion engine. At least the two sliding bearing materials having different hardness, are welded in a spatially separated area as the bearing shell, and mutually contact via a mixed microstructure.
