摘要： A process for producing benzene is provided which comprises the steps of subjecting a charge rich in alkylaromatic hydrocarbons and containing 2-20% by weight paraffinic and/or naphthenic hydrocarbons, in a first catalytic zone, to a hydrotreatment in the presence of a catalyst mixture containing a selective mordenite catalyst and a reforming catalyst, then subjecting at least a portion of the resultant effluent to thermal or catalytic hydrodealkylation in a second zone, and separating and recovering benzene from the effluent from the second zone.

摘要： The invention relates to an alkylation process, in which a charge incorporating at least one isoparaffin and at least one olefin containing 2 to 6 carbon atoms per molecule, is treated in the presence of a solid alkylation catalyst. In the process, catalyst present in a reaction R is contacted with the charge, recycled liquid effluent discharged from reaction zone R and liquid effluent discharged from an isobutane/n-butane/alkylate separation zone S. The process uses a specific catalyst, e.g., sulfuric acid impregnated on a porous support.

摘要： Toluene and poly-methyl benzene hydrocarbons are reacted in the presence of an improved catalyst containing a group VIII noble metal. The catalyst is obtained by admixing a catalyst carrier with a Group VIII noble metal or compound thereof and with a hydrocarbyl aluminum halide. Sulfur may be present. The yield and selectivity are substantially improved as compared to conventional catalysts.

摘要： Residual oils from steam-cracking or catalytic cracking, oils from coal liquefaction and oils from bituminous sands and shales are converted to gasoline by a process comprising the fractionation of the feed charge to a naphtha and a middle distillate: the naphtha, admixed with a gasoline cut "E", is hydrotreated and then dehydrogenated to gasoline; the middle distillate is hydrotreated and fractionated to gasoline and a heavier fraction, the heavier fraction is hydrocracked and fractionated, thus producing a gasoline cut which constitutes the above cut "E".

摘要： The present process has for object the manufacture of olefinic hydrocarbons with respectively 2 and 3 carbon atoms per molecule. This object is attained by treating a charge selected from such cuts as light or heavy naphthas, kerosenes and light gas oils of distillation point lower than 360.degree. C. The cut is subjected to hydrogenolysis and the resulting C.sub.2 and C.sub.3 hydrocarbons are fed to a steam-cracking plant, while the C.sub.4.sup.+ hydrocarbons are subjected to further hydrogenolysis.

摘要： The invention relates to a catalyst for isomerizing a C.sub.8 aromatic fraction containing a mordenite and at least one metal from group VIII of the periodic classification of elements (such as Pt or Pd), characterized in that the mordenite is such that its skeleton Si/Al atomic ratio is between 6 and 10.5, its sodium weight content is below 2000 ppm, its unit cell volume is between 2.73 and 2.78 nm.sup.3, its benzene adsorption capacity is between 4 and 10% based on the dry mordenite weight and its 1,3,5-trimethylbenzene adsorption capacity is between 0.5 and 2.5% by weight based on the dry mordenite weight. The invention also relates to the preparation of said mordenite.
