摘要： In the present invention, after the corresponding thin-film transistor is turned on by a first scan line, charging is achieved through a pixel electrode. After that, the corresponding thin-film transistor is turned on by a second scan line. The common voltage starts to be applied to the pixel electrode. In such a manner, the insertion of grey-scale pictures is carried out. Moreover, the embodiments of the present invention control the duration of time of a second scan signal on the second scan line so as to pull down the voltage of the pixel electrode to different voltage levels, thereby achieving the insertion of grey-scale pictures with varied brightness.

摘要： A thin-film transistor (TFT) array structure and a liquid crystal display (LCD) panel thereof are described. The TFT array structure includes a plurality of scan lines, a plurality of first data lines, a plurality of second data lines, a plurality of pixel units and a plurality of control module. Each of the control modules is coupled among the scan line, one second data line and one pixel unit. The second data line charges the later control module when the scan line is selected to be activated for charging the pixel unit by the first data line. The charged later control module charges another pixel unit when the scan line is inactivated and another scan line is selected to be activated for charging another pixel unit by the first data line. The TFT array structure can reduce the charging duration of the pixels.

摘要： A liquid crystal display panel and a method of manufacturing the same are proposed. A bottom electrode of an electrode used as a storage capacitor is disposed between a scan line and a voltage controlling line. A first conducting area and a second conducting area of another electrode used as the storage capacitor are formed by a transparent conducting layer. Because the storage capacitor is formed between the scan line and the voltage controlling line, a second sub-pixel electrode has larger layout space. The aperture ratio of the second sub-pixel electrode is increased accordingly.

摘要： The present invention proposes an LCD panel. Conducting traces traversing a scan line and a voltage controlling line are made of a transparent conducting layer which are used for first and second sub-pixel electrodes, rather than a second metallic layer for data lines. Compared with the conventional technology in which the transparent conducting layer is separated from the second metallic layer used as the data lines by the insulating layer, the transparent conducting layer is separated from the first metallic layer used as the scan lines by the insulating layer and the passivation layer in the present invention. Since the parasitic capacitances across the conducting traces and the scan lines or the voltage controlling lines are lower, RC delay is reduced.

摘要： A liquid crystal display panel is provided and which comprises first and second substrates arranged opposite to each other. Wherein the first substrate includes a pixel zone and a gluing strip arranged along perimeter of the pixel zone, the gluing strip includes thermoplastic material. Wherein the second substrate is arranged with a circuitry; and wherein the circuitry and the gluing strip is overlapped and sandwiched between the first and second substrates and the gluing strip is melted by the heat generated from the circuitry after it is energized. The present invention also provides a method for making the same. Once the circuitry is energized, the gluing strip will be cured with the heat from the circuitry. There is no need for the ultraviolet, and the curing processes are simplified, while the first and second class substrates can be readily sealed and laminated.
