摘要： The present disclosure relates to transport link quality measurement in a distributed antenna system. A link quality indicator associated with the functional performance of a digital transport link in the distributed antenna system can be determined by a component of the distributed antenna system. An indication of a potential fault condition can be determined based on the link quality indicator before a fault condition associated with the potential fault condition occurs. The indication of the potential fault condition can be presented, for example, via a graphical user interface, a table, or an email alert.

摘要： A head-end unit for a distributed antenna system. The head-end unit comprises a radio frequency interface configured to transport wireless communication information between the head end unit and a base station, one or more facility control communication ports configured to communicate facility control information with a first component of a facility control and monitoring system, and a signal processing module comprising a signal processor configured to communicate translated facility control information with a second component of the facility control and monitoring system via at least one remote unit. The second component is configured to detect an environmental parameter within a coverage area of the distributed antenna system. The signal processing module is configured to receive the environmental parameter from the at least one remote unit and to change a mode of operation of the distributed antenna system with respect to wireless communication coverage, based on the environmental parameter.
