    • PURPOSE:To eliminate a magnet which makes no contribution to attraction force, in a traveling machine provided with a magnet which has magnetically attracting characteristics one wall surface whose crawler is formed out of magnetic substance, by making the magnet face a wall surface to be fixed on a traveling machine body, and sliding the crawler between the magnet and the wall surface. CONSTITUTION:Plural inductive wheels 3 are mounted on a traveling machine body 1 so as to rotate freely through an axle 2, and a thin crawler 6 with high tensile strength is wound around their peripheries. At this time, the crawler 6 and the inductive wheel 3 are made to mesh with each other by engaging protrusions 8 in the inductive wheel 3 with holes 7 in the crawler 6. Also, the magnet 4 is mounted on a body 1, facing a wall surface, and is arranged inside the crawler 6, by which the crawler 6 is made invade the part between the magnet 4 and the wall surface 5. Moreover, small roughness is provided in a contact surface A of the crawler 6 with the wall surface 5 to increase frictional resistance, and a contact surface B with the magnet 4 is made smooth and frictional resistance is decreased by using lubricant. It is thus possible to travel the whole traveling machine in an attracted condition on the wall surface with the rotation of the crawler 6.

    • PURPOSE:To exactly measure only a sound radiated from a ship's broadside by connecting a resistance plate to an underwater microphone supporting leg through an elastic body and attaching a microphone to the surface of the broadside of this resistance plate. CONSTITUTION:An underwater microphone supporting frame 4 is provided on a broadside 10 through a supporting leg 12, and to this supporting frame 4, a resistance plate 3 is connected through a spring 5. Also, an underwater microphone 2 is attached to the surface of a broadside of this resistance plate 3. When a sonar 1 of such constitution is used, even if the broadside is vibrated in the direction vertical to the fitting direction of the underwater acoustic measuring device 1, the underwater microphone 2 holds a prescribed position irrespective of a molten of the broadside 10. That is, since a vibration sound from the broadside 10 is not transmitted to the microphone 2, only a sound radiated into the water from the broadside 10 can be measured exactly.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a heat exchanger having a superior anti-wear characteristic of a thermal conduction pipe and a superior vibration-proof characteristic as well as showing no excessive thermal load in a part of the thermal conduction pipe at the hot gas flowing part by a method wherein a cover is arranged for every thermal conduction pipe near the inlet port of hot temperature barrel fluid. CONSTITUTION:Circular buffle plates 6 having recessed portions are arranged among a plentiful thermal conduction pipe groups 1 held between the upper and lower pipe plates 8 and 10 in such a way as the positions of the recessed portions may be alternatively settled and the group 1 of the thermal conduction pipes at the first stage of the buffle at the inlet port 4 of the barrel fluid are arranged in such a way as they are covered with double-pipe groups 3. A relation between the thermal conduction pipes 1 and the outer pipe 3 is made such that they are a concentric double-circular pipe, and a clearance 2 of 0.5mm-1mm is present between the thermal conduction pipes 1 and the outer pipe 3. The outer pipe 3 is connected to the pipe plate 8. Hot barrel fluid enters the inlet nozzle 4 of the barrel and the fluid flows in a zig-zag form due to subsequent bending of flow by several buffle plates 6 among the thermal conduction pipe groups 1, then the fluid is discharged at the barrel fluid outlet nozzle 7. Due to a double-wall structure of the thermal conduction pipe groups in the first bending flow area at the first stage of the buffle plate, so that a rate of transparency of heat at this part is decreased and a flux of thermal flow is also decreased.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of vibration caused by wear and to improve the reliability and the handlability by providing a whole mast so as to be freely movable in the radial direction of an RPV on a carriage, and also, constituting the device so that an arm ascends and descends along the lower mast. CONSTITUTION:When the upper and the lower masts 16, 18 are allowed to descend vertically, a mast guide 15 and the masts 16, 18 are fixed to a mast supporting base 26 of a carriage 14 so that a head 20 and an arm 19 do not abut on a feed water sparger 7 and a reactor core spray inner tube 8 in an RPV 1, and thereafter, the mast 16 is allowed to descend until a guide roller 44 of the lower end part of the mast 18 approaches the upper shroud 6. Subsequently, by moving a supporting base 26 in the radial outside direction of the RPV 1, the masts 16, 18 are allowed to approach the wall surface of the RPV 1, the arm 19 and the head 20 are crept in right under the sparger 7 and the inner tube 8, and the mast 18 is allowed to descend until the roller 44 comes into contact with the inner wall. While the head 20 is scanning, only the arm 19 moves, and the mast 18 remains still. In such a way, play caused by wear of the mast supporting part is obviated.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent dust and dirt from adhering to optical fiber and enable accurate identifying of flames by forming a protruding curved head to which the end face of optical fiber is exposed and facilitating the flow of cooled air in a flame monitor for combustion equipment. CONSTITUTION:The end face 23a of a support member 23 which forms the front surface of an illumination head 20, is formed in curved shape. Optical fibers 24a, 24b, and 24c are respectively protruded through penetrating into a support groove. An optical head 20 formed in this manner, is arranged at such a position which allows a peep to the outside of a protection member 14 from a slit 16 for the protective member 14. When a cooled air 21 is passed to a flame monitor, the cooled air 21 flows along a side 23c of a support member 23. However, the cooled air flow is separated at a location slightly on the down stream side of a curvature generation section 23d of a side 23c. As a result, a thin dead water region H may be generated along the end face 23a. To eliminate any possible troubles caused by the generation of the aforesaid dead water region, the respective end faces of the optical fibers are adapted to protrude from the dead water region H. Therefore, this construction makes it possible to wipe off dust and dirt, even when adhered to the end faces, thereby enabling constant monitoring of the flames.

    • PURPOSE:To increase the output of an acoustic element by employing a printed wiring made of a thin good conductor for the electric good conductor connecting electrodes at an interval arranged alternately with a piezoelectric element so as to prevent the reduction in the acoustic sensitivity and noise generation. CONSTITUTION:Plural electrodes 2 are arranged alternately cylindrically with the piezoelectric elements 6 and they are connected by two printed wires 4 at an interval. In this case, the cross point with the electrode 2 not connected is insulated by an insulation layer 5. The entire element is covered by a coating member such as a rubber of a vinyl resin for water tightness and electric insulation, but because of the employment of a thin printed wiring, the reduction in the acoustic sensitivity due to the production of an air layer or noise increase caused frequently in a conventional element is prevented. Since no soldering is required to connect the electrodes 2 and the printed wiring 4, it is possible to make the width of the electrodes narrow, the number of split outputs in the circumferential direction is increased to increase the acoustic output and to reduce noise.
