摘要： An apparatus for downhole cyclone separation (40) characterized by a plurality of cyclone separators (12) vertically oriented and vertically aligned with each other within a multiple cyclone separator housing (42). Each of the cyclone separators (12) has at least one mixed liquids inlet (18), a first outlet (20) and a second outlet (22). At least one of the at least one mixed liquids inlet (18), the first outlet (20) and the second outlet (22) of each of the cyclone separators (12) is vertically oriented. The multiple cyclone separator housing (42) has at least one disposal stream outlet (48) and at least one recovery stream outlet (50). The at least one disposal stream outlet (48) and the at least one recovery stream outlet (50) are at opposite vertical housing ends of the multiple cyclone separator housing (42).
