摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording head in which throughput is enhanced while reducing ink consumption by stripping a bubble adhering to the wall face of a common liquid chamber thereby decreasing the number of times of recovery processing. SOLUTION: The ink jet recording head comprises a plurality of elements generating energy for ejecting liquid drops, liquid drop ejection openings, and a common liquid chamber having openings for supplying liquid to the plurality of ejection energy generating elements and communicating with the ejection energy generating elements through that openings, wherein a movable member is provided in the vicinity of the liquid supply opening in the common liquid chamber where a bubble adheres easily.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of reliability in bonding due to repeated bondings and detachments when a bump-like electrode is used to electrically connect a recording element unit and a driving element unit constituting an ink-jet head. SOLUTION: An electrode 1631b of bump-like electrodes 1631b and 1631a of a recording element substrate 1604 and a driving element substrate 1605 is shaped to be gradually reduced in sectional area towards a press direction. When the electrodes 1631b and 1631a are pressed in touch with each other, the electrode 1631b is synthesized relatively small to the deformation and deformed itself, whereby the electrode 1631a is hardly deformed. In consequence, when a fresh substrate 1604 is to be mounted, the substrate can be bonded well even when the electrode 1631b is not uniform.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a stable ink liquid drop discharging, and improve the reliability under a state wherein remaining air bubbles do not unfavorably affect the ink liquid discharging by a method wherein for an ink passage for which a protuberance is provided on a discharging port plate, a joint part is provided on adjacent energy generating elements, between an ink feeding port and the ink discharging energy generating elements. SOLUTION: On a substrate 4, an electric thermal converting element 1 which is a discharging energy generating element, and an ink feeding port are provided, and on both sides in the longitudinal direction of the ink feeding port, one line each of electric thermal converting elements 1 is arranged under a zig-zag state. Also, on the substrate 4, a coating resin layer 6 which becomes an ink passage wall to form an ink passage, is provided, and on the coating resin layer 6, a discharging port plate 5 equipped with a discharging port 2, is provided. Then, in order to suppress the growth of remaining air bubbles 9 to a degree wherein the remaining air bubbles 9 unfavorably affect the ink feeding characteristics, a protuberance 7 is provided directly above the ink feeding port on the internal surface of the discharging port plate, and in addition, a joint part which is co-owned by adjacent elements 1, is provided between the ink feeding port and the electric thermal converting element 1 for the ink passage.
