    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impervious wall structure in which an impervious material layer contains always a required predetermined content of moisture to maintain a high imperviableness.
      SOLUTION: The impervious wall structure is provided with the impervious material layer 17 formed by filling a space 16 formed in a sand guard wall provided in soil with an impervious material having a deformability. In the structure, an upper end surface of the impervious material layer 17 is closed by a moisture maintenance means inside the impervious material layer which is formed in layers for maintaining the moisture inside the impervious material layer 17, that is, a water storage section 21 the inside of which is in contact with the upper end surface of the impervious material layer 17 is provided, and water 22 for drying prevention is stocked in the water storage section 21.
