The toner particles are useful for color development of tacky areas by depositing and distributing the toner particles by means of a pad, including an applicator apparatus comprising a housing for toner, a free moving weight in the housing for agitating the toner, means to release toner from the housing, and at least two hinged pads mounted on the housing.
